The service was good, the seats comfortable, all very relaxing as I sat inside looking out at a large new raised deck, alfresco area, raining today but nice on a fine day.

If I've got time to sit down, the pie comes with fresh cream. The staff aren't always the friendliest bunch, but it doesn't bother me much. They're quick and professional at what they do. The cafe is always clean, although it is a little dark but it's a warm darkness, like the inside of a hug. The car park is another massive positive for this place (car parking in Mt Barker is an ongoing battle) it's big and there's plenty of turning room. I'm always able to get a park. A bakery that's like a professional dark hug, with a big car park. What's not to like?

Here they have a busy popular Cafe, which cater for their customers and town shoppers. Rumours Espresso MtBarker is modern, spacious, with dark wooden tables and matching comfortable chairs. Around the walls are large wooden painted art, depicting a bygone era of, fast cars, passenger airliners & ships. From the display cabinet at the counter I chose a very nice generous size ham, cheese, tomato toasted sandwich, with a mug of Rio latte, all very satisfying. The service was excellent and friendly. As this is a new cafe, I found it very relaxing, not crowded out by customers, but this place I am sure will like their counterpart in Tanunda get busy. Good call.

Anyway, we were able to peer through the gate and it was left to the vivid imagination of the 5 year old as to what lay beyond! We decided to stay and have a latte and sat in the courtyard. We found the service personal and friendly, with out any delay in ordering. The Cafe also offer a 10% discount to seniors, a loyalty card, free news paper to read, plus free Wifi is available. All decently priced and a great healthy alternative then going out for takeaway. I look forward to return to eat some lunch. On this visit my guest and I tried the Lemon Polenta and the Pecan cake. Both were very moist, full of flavour, and not too sweet. Which is perfect by my books. The coffee is a strong and robust. Lovely blend and great barista.
