On the latest Disney World trip that my family took over the Holidays, I ended up waiting for them inside the Serka Zong Bazaar as they rode the Mount Everest ride. This store has a lot of gifts especially Mount Everest themed! You'll find a wide range of snacks, pins, toys, apparel, and accessories! There are also a lot of décor throughout the store that are Yeti themed. I really enjoyed looking at the Yeti themed shirts and the toys! In the middle of the store, there is a pin selection. You'll see pin starter packs and a lot of Animal Kingdom themed pins like the Lion King and Mount Everest themed. Disney's Annual Passholder Discounts and Disney Visa Cardmember Perks do apply at this store. This is also a great store to stop in especially during the summer!

The shop itself is fairly small and is packed with "artifacts"- characters-clothing and merch which of course are all Himalayan or Yeti themed. After probably going through this place sixty or seventy times during our many visits, one of the children wanted a stuffed plush Yeti. Whatever. Goofy as hell looking, but definitely unique and "Bob" the Yeti has been well loved. There are usually only two registers open which of course means that when things get busy, get ready to wait to pay. Ugh. I do walk through to see what they have frequency, but it is rare that I would make a purchase because the items I tend to want are priced out of my range. If I had someone who was a big fan, I would definitely consider buying gifts here. And this most recent visit, I realized how long it has been since I have really shopped because they have truly expanded the selection of items that they have. I did not realize that they carry Swarovski Crystal. I used to buy Swarovski from their stores with some regularity when I was younger. What are things I love about stopping through is quite often. You can see one of the artists developing pieces. I'm always amazed at the talent. These people have and the quality of the workmanship. For me, I would love to be able to buy one of the chess sets that they have. I will have to start saving my pennies so that I can hopefully buy one one day.

When walking into this shop, you will be able to tell that you are still in the Hollywood Tower Hotel. That feeling of being in a 1930's era hotel remains throughout your shopping experience and even while you are leaving the shop. The attention to detail within the shop is fantastic. They have included many nostalgic elements such as old luggage, antiques, etc. and they also have an eerie and creepy feel that fits perfectly with the overall theme of the attraction. It does not feel like other Disney stores at all! Merchandise available in this shop is heavily centered around the theme of Tower of Terror, and the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Many items available include apparel, accessories, mugs, and other themed items such as including several creative pieces inspired by the attraction and hotel. Some examples include bellhop inspired designs, vintage style logos, and quirky pieces such as keychain versions of the keys to the rooms. The design of these items leans much closer to an older Hollywood style! It does have a lot of Nightmare Before Christmas themed items as well such as Oogie Boogie though! I personally continue to enjoy looking at everything they have there. The store is a great place to look around after the ride, particularly if you are a fan of Tower of Terror. You will get an even better feel for what the gift shop has to offer by simply taking a stroll through, regardless as to whether or not you decide to make a purchase! I would consider Tower Hotel Gift Shop primarily an experience rather than strictly a gift shop. The themed merchandise is very well done and closely relates to the theme of the Tower of Terror attraction! I'm giving it 5 stars because almost every item here is influence by The Tower of Terror/The Hollywood Tower Hotel. It is one of my favourite gift shops on Disney Property because I love The Tower of Terror so much, and they have items available here you will not find anywhere else on Disney Property. I've made many purchases here! You'll find a variety of t-shirts, coffee mugs, hats, etc. They even have the game Clue devoted to the attraction (we actually purchased it quite a few years ago and have played it many times with our daughters). There are even towels, robes, do not disturb door signs, bells, etc. which depict The Hollywood Tower Hotel logo. I think all of those items are really cool because it's as if you actually stayed at the hotel. Hahaha! :D They have a cooler here where you can grab a cold bottle of soda, Powerade, or water. They also have some of the Goofy line of snacks to offer. There's also a corner of the shop devoted to all things from Nightmare Before Christmas. They have some unique items from that series which I haven't seen in other gift shops. There are still several other items I want to (and will) purchase from this shop. One of the stores that I really wanted to go into was the Universal Epic Universe Preview Center. You'll see this store as soon as you exit from the parking garage, and go straight towards Islands of Adventure. It's off to your left before you cross over the bridge area. One of the main reasons I wanted to come into this store was to see the massive model of the new Epic Universe theme park! It was so beautiful and well done! My favorite area I'm looking forward to is Super Nintendo World. I am a huge fan of the Super Mario series and Donkey Kong! I can't wait to go on the rides in the area and try out some of the food! You can also scan the QR codes to see all of the rides and attractions at Epic Universe! The store also has a wide range of merchandise too. The merchandise is actually Epic Universe themed. There are apparel to purchase like shirts and even toys based off of Super Nintendo World, Universal Monsters, and so much more! There are also photo opportunities inside the store too! Ziwani Traders is tucked away by the Safari Treks, but it is by no means small! With a full bakery case and multiple rooms full of merch, Ziwani Traders is a gift shop walking through... always. Animal Kingdom has the two HUGE gift shops at either side of the entrance by the Tree of Life, but... they are always crowded and sometimes not used for the newest drops. Ziwani Traders has the latest park Loungefly backpacks, themed tshirts to the safaris, and tons of African themed merch! The prices are Disney prices, so the value is really in the space and peace that surrounds this hidden gem. Even for a smaller size, the store has five checkouts and plenty of cast members available for questions and to keep the shop clean and organized.
