HONEST RATING I've been a client of this law firm since July. I want to breakdown my personal experience in categories. I will separately rate my attorney, my case manager(s), and communication. My Attorney (5 Stars): Bryan Nel was amazing. He asked all the right questions and prepared me on what to and what not to say. He completely dismantled the opposing side. I will definitely reach out and ask for Bryan Nel if I ever need him again. Case managers (2 stars): From the beginning, I was assigned a case manager. I thought the communication was going well until she stopped replying for 2 weeks. Had to call in just to find out that she no longer works there. Then I was assigned another case manager. Great guy, but the same thing happened at the end where I couldn't get a hold of a him. Finally, I got assigned one more and she was very timely with her responses and connected me with my attorney to prep. Communication (1 Star): This is just my experience. As a client, it's very stressful to have to go out of my way multiple times to get a response. The front office kept telling me that someone would call me in 24-48 hours many times. I had to personally drive 2.5 hours round trip to the firm to get a response. The only thing that would make me work with this law firm again is Bryan Nel. He's a gem of an attorney, if it wasn't for him - I probably would shop elsewhere. The value that he brought to our case was phenomenal. read more

My father is currently having his case viewed by Moaddel Law Firm, and their communication is terrible. He calls and they always tell him the person who is going to present him in court is always busy or left for an emergency. His calls are never returned and time is not on our side considering that his court hearing is in a month. Not to mention that I did an investigation myself and had checked that Moaddel Law Firm is an independent and private law practice and is not apart of the State Bar or Bar Association. For those who don't know the State Bar of California is a government agency that is RESPONSIBLE for licensing and disciplining attorneys. In order to practice legally they MUST be licensed by and registered with the State Bar. His case seems to be going no where. Their pricing is terrible for doing services that don't seem to go nowhere, they even asked to take a copy of his credit card, for what reason? Why do they need to take a copy of it, nothing of it makes sense and they lack professionalism. Anyone looking for an attorney to defend you always do an investigation before you go with them. Don't just go on Google to look for information, do an investigation because you are just a money bag for them. Go to small claims court!! ** Monthly charges without actual progress or updates ** Ignored calls, emails, and requests for communication ** Unprofessional handling of sensitive legal documents ** Broken promises of commitment and accountability ** Potential exploitation of vulnerable clients After sitting with the facts and the totality of the experience my wife had to go through, it's apparent that they may have taken advantage of her because she is part of an vulnerable group--a young woman, a foreign language speaker, an immigrant, and at the time she hired the law firm, she did not have the support system to steer her away from red flag businesses. As the wife of Tatiana A.C., a client who trusted this law firm, I feel the need to warn others. From the very beginning, the service was poor. They charged her monthly as if they were actively working on her case, yet there were no updates, no follow-through, and attempts to communicate were either ignored or brushed off. But they were always on time to remind you to pay! Throughout the entire process, Tatiana felt completely abandoned. Her requests were not handled, calls went unanswered, and emails were left with no real response. Specifically, I want to mention Alexandra Porto. She promised a level of commitment that simply was not delivered. At one point, she even sent a supposedly "legal" document via email with someone else's name on it while assuring Tatiana that everything was correct. When the mistake was pointed out, there was no clear explanation or real accountability. This woman main outlandish promises verbally and through text! These jokers have been pulling my wife's chain about returning her money. They have so many bad reviews on Yelp, that this is likely their modus operandi about how to buy time and avoid accountability! We deeply regret putting our faith in this firm. There were no results, just ongoing charges, lack of professionalism, and extremely poor communication. It's apparent from most reviews that they are bad faith actors seemingly taking advantage of vulnerable populations, and we can't stress enough to avoid this firm. Yelp shows dozens and dozens of 1-2 star reviews, while Google is filled with suspiciously glowing feedback, leading us to believe they may even be buying reviews to cover their tracks. Now, however, Tatiana is no longer alone. She has the full support and backing of a partner who feels so strongly about the gall and injustice of this situation that every legal avenue will be pursued. We will not stop until accountability is forced upon this firm. That means pursuing small claims court, seeking outside legal representation, and filing reports with both the BBB and the California State Bar. The negligence is so blatant and we have enough proof to reach out to local news outlets and explore the possibility of a class action lawsuit. Avoid Moaddel Law at all costs! read more

I acquired their services a few years ago and have had to resubmit my families immigration documents 3xs now for various reasons I think should have been done right the first time. Mind you it's been years of back and forth and paying for "new" fees that come up year after year. It seems we are getting the run-around and there is zero communication. Every time I call, front desk reroutes me to a general VM and I have to leave my info and never get a return phone call. How many of you have gotten rerouted for asking for an update? Seems we all have. I understand each case is different but the lack of updates and the constant asking for money for new fees when they should have been past certain phases is shocking. This was supposed to be an open and close case; simpler than most. They made it seem this time we were closer to the end, that all we needed was one last thing. Now we're being told everything has halted due to needing a different form of payment? Seriously? So let's freeze everything or possibly restart the whole damn case again because the form of payment THEY requested is not accepted? Then why did you ask for that form of payment?! Unfortunately, we put our faith and funds into this law firm to do a service and it seems we are constantly being forgotten. We are up to $10k paid so far over the years, when we initially paid $5.5k. If you have a similar case let me know. I plan on talking to the media outlets and sharing our story on social media. I had a case and had acquired prefiling services ( they were going to check for a year to see if a case was filed) a month into hiring them I ended up getting an arrest warrant. They failed to notify me. I didn't know about it for 5 years. I went back to ask what happened but never got an answer. The two people I spoke to couldn't explain to me since they weren't there five years ago. They hire lawyers who turn up to hearings drunk or high, and who don't even know what each case is about. They don't try to win cases; they just turn up and don't care if a client is deported. They overwork staff hired illegally outside the US, giving them a heavy workload and few holiday days. They push staff to the point of exploitation. En la ultima corte que tuve la jueza dejo bien claro que nunca entregaron mi declaración para el asilo político a pesar de que fue lo primero que les entregue cuando se realizó el contrato inicial para empezar el caso. Cabe resaltar que en esa video conferencia de la ultima corte la abogada de esta firma estaba vestida con ropa de casa super informal (parece que solo usan traje cuando te van a hacer el contrato para cobrarte en las oficinas donde te prometen todo lo que quieres escuchar). Si es usted un inmigrante honrado que llego a este país con ganas de solucionar su problema migratorio no le regale su dinero o el que le presten sus seres queridos a esta firma. Estoy abierto a enviarle pruebas de todo lo que aquí expongo y mucho más a quien las necesite. Siempre busquen referencias antes de contratar un representante legal para que no les pase como a mi.(Este mismo comentario lo puse en Facebook y lo eliminaron al instante como todos los comentarios de los clientes reales e insatisfechos, les garantizo que las reseñas positivas que tiene esta firma son echas por familiares y amigos de sus trabajadores. **PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS FIRM** My mother hired this firm to represent her in her immigration case back in 2021. She would constantly call their office and ask to speak with the legal team. When asking for updates, she was received with unprofessional and rude comments. The staff would dismiss her or advise her to call back in 45 days for an update. When she would call for updates, they'd say that the process was taking longer than usual and that work was being done on the case. My mother called for an update after almost one year of retaining their services. She was told by a staff member from the legal team that no work was performed on her case and that they made an honest mistake for OVER ONE YEAR. The office manager contacted my mother to attempt to remedy the situation but there was no remedy for time lost and resources depleted. We have been attempting to collect a refund for the funds that they have been unethically withholding after not completing any work on her case. I've spoken with JJ, Carina, Sara Torres, and Alexa from the customer service department. No one has been helpful and they "promise" to call back once they're available. I've been chasing them down and playing phone tag with them since July 2024 to have the refund processed. Their refund and accounting process ranges from 30-45 days; you'd assume it were done sooner since no work was done on the case. We have yet to receive as resolution to this. They have sent my calls and messages to voicemail and make zero effort in contacting me. Please save yourself a headache and look elsewhere. I am very disappointed with the service provided by the Moaddel Law Firm, as the paralegal did not address all the important points raised by USCIS in the NOIR letter even though I sent all the documents to Daniela, the legal assistant , upon signing the contract. Now, the I-130 petition for my husband's case is in jeopardy . After numerous calls, I requested to see the NOIR response and also asked to speak with a supervisor, which never happened. After having difficulty reaching anyone, the paralegal, Leonardo, called me; it wasn't even a lawyer handling my husband's case.I asked to see the NOIR response, and it was sent to me late the day before. I read it, and the rebuttal to the NOIR response didn't meet my expectations because it didn't cover at all the important points raised by USCIS. it's was nightmare.So I emailed Leonardo and I resubmitted the documents to rebut USCIS's allegations. In the email, I asked Leonardo why he didn't rebut several important points of the NOIR. Leonardo the paralegal told me the document had already been submitted and that he had done his best. Of course, he hadn't done his best because he didn't rebut several of USCIS's allegations. I spoke with two other attorneys, and both said that addressing all the points is extremely important and that each point of the USCIS allegation must be rebutted. The legal assistant Daniela who was gathering all the documents also asked me to sign my signature on a white sheet of paper and take a photo with my cell phone to send it to her. I found that odd. But she said it was to add my signature to the G-28.My chance to be able to clear up any misunderstanding of the facts by providing USCIS with better information was snuffed out by the negligence of these people. Do not set yourself for failure I was on a tight budget and not knowing who they were, went to this people looking for help But instead of helping me they saw an opportunity to take advantage of me now I see this is what they do, they go around collecting retainers and forget about peoples cases and when they leave they simply keep their money and make up a bunch of fees and charges for work they didn't do I lost $1,300.00 on absolutely nothing They didn't help me at all, I'm still in the same situation so people don't hire these people, They will rob you, I got two pages on the mail that cost me $1,301.00 that I can't even wipe my *** with, should have bought toilet pepper instead of giving it away to these people. Horrible people. The moment you sign the paperwork they ghost you. Please go with a different firm and save your money. They have not done any work for me, dodged my calls and text messages. I do not even know who my lawyer is nor have I spoken to anyone even about my case. The only time anyone spoke to me was a misinformed parallegal who contacted me in Spanish. I don't speak Spanish. She also gave me the wrong dates for my hearing to which I already have the citation from the police, This was the only time I was able to contact them and corrected it with her. Did I receive an apology for her fuck up? No. Very unprofessional, rude, will dodge you and steal your money. Please go anywhere else.
