Nice course but a bit expensive. I guess when there's no other golf courses around for miles, you can charge an exorbitant amount of money. They need to get some water on the course.

What a great course! I'm jealous of the locals that get to play here all the time. The views are incredible. The course was well maintained. During the spring weekdays you can get a tee time very easily and be alone on the course. Price point is $30 with cart for 9 holes, so reasonable for such a nice course. We also got a yummy club sandwich and beers are cheap! Domestic beers are $2.50 and craft beers $3. Great deal.

Best price for 9 and a cart with amazing views!! Wife and I got out early and couldn't believe the views

This course is in fantastic shape considering the state of the water situation we are in. We decided to dive the extra 40 minutes to play this rather then the course in Monticello that is in terrible shape right now and it was 100% worth it. Tee boxes and fairways were green and well maintained, and the greens, aside from being a touch slow were perfect. At the turn we all got the recommend chicken salad sandwich and it did not disappoint freshly made and delicious. I think our family will be making the extra drive to play this course from now on.

Incredible course. I would recommend this anyone just for the views. We played nine holes and had a blast. We rented clubs there so we didn't have to travel with them. Everyone had a great time.

Great course, very scenic, easy to get on and not that expensive. Seemed to be in pretty good shape considering we played in mid-December

It's tough to review this low... I live in grand junction about 15 minutes from the course…read more I've played here around a dozen times over the last year, and every single time it hasn't been a good experience. Don't get me wrong, the views are amazing and the course is well maintained with 27 fun holes... But it seems like they book tee times WAY too close together. Every single round has been unbearably SLOW. Want to play 9 holes? Plan on 3 to 3.5 hours. 18 holes? Easily 6-7 hours +. I had given up on a cart, as it doesn't even help make a round faster. When walking with a pushcart, I still end up standing around forever waiting for the stacks of groups in front of me (who are waiting on the groups in front of them). If they could space things out more and run the tee times like Tiara Rado or Lincoln Park, I would definitely play here more often. (Not to say that I haven't had some slow rounds at the other courses... but a slow round on those is like maybe 5 hours for 18) I'll definitely give it another chance next year at the beginning of the season... to try to keep some variety in the courses I play... But unless they make some admin changes, I might lose all hope :'(

Old City Park is awesome! It's a few miles out from the part of Moab that everyone visits (all the…read morehotels and restaurants), but well worth the 10-15 minute drive. The course is a full 18 holes in a very nice park that includes nice picnicking spots and a duck pond. Each hole has a beautifully made sign that includes the hole length, par, a tip for how to approach it, a Google Earth map of the tee and line to the hole, and a local sponsor. These are easily some of the better signs I've seen while playing and it made it very easy for us to go as first timers to the course. We had no problem locating baskets, the next holes, and everything else. Some of the further off baskets have awesome flags attached to the top so that you can see them from anywhere you're throwing. It made for some nice, relaxing disc golf. The course is sandy with quite a bit of trees and bushes. There is a good variety to the holes, lots of tricky shots, and lots of chances for your disc to get lost. Hole 7 was a bad one for me in particular. You start at the top of the hill and are throwing down to a basket around a corner you can't see. You are probably 50+ feet above where the basket it and the basket is 375 feet away. These kind of shots are tricky because of how the disc floats to the left when you're so high up above the ground. I landed 2 discs in the trees and had to spend quite a bit of time hunting them down, a third disc landed over in the fenced off area to the right (a watershed), but I managed to safely get it. Overall this is a great course to stop by and try out. Make sure you bring water as well, because it is always hot in Moab. This was a perfect spot for a round on our way out to play Base Camp.

This 18 hole golf is one of the best laid-out and labeled courses I have ever played. They have…read morehole markers guiding you to each tee box to minimize those moments where you stumble around searching aimlessly. Also, each tee box has a topo and hole description so that you know where to aim for those juniper - hid baskets. The course is easy to find. It's a few miles south of town off spanish trail Rd. Being it's a desert, expect heavy sage brush and a handful of junipers. All of the holes are par 3, but they lean on the longer side. So, make sure to bring a good driver and know how to use it. Nothing was terribly technical, you just need to throw the distance. Hole 16, I recall?, does have a gully off to the left (topo at tee box forewarns you). Don't underestimate it like I did. It's a good twenty foot ditch with water and steep edges. You can't see it from the tee box, but landing a disc there is a pain. If you brought disc golfs, this course makes for a great rest day activity.

I used to have nothing but great things to say about Tiara Rado Golf Course, but that opinion has…read morechanged drastically, and I was proven wrong. My group and I have golfed at this course multiple times and LOVED it! Our last visit was probably the worst interaction I have ever had with a business in my entire life. People make mistakes which is understandable because we are humans. It was not busy and our group got holes #13 and #16 mixed up because they are right next to each other, an easy mistake that I am sure others have made before too. We tried to correct the mistake as seamlessly as possible to avoid disrupting the other golfers (wasn't very busy but now it makes sense knowing how people are treated here.) We decided to skip the hole we missed and continue on our way ensuring the people in front of us were okay with that and behind us. While we are waiting the marshall comes up and I kid you not shoved his finger in one of our faces and is just screaming profanities and being so aggressive. I have never seen somebody act like that and I thought he might be having a medical emergency based on his behavior. While I do know that some people do not know how to control themselves or speak to others in a human way I could not even justify the behavior demonstrated by the marshall. He would not even let our group say a word to explain the mistake which could've cleared up the entire problem. He chose to instead scream and disrupt every person on the back 9 who was trying to play. He went away after people came up trying to defend our group and get him to stop. Once again he drove up when he saw we were alone and decided it would be professional to continue yelling at us, once again, at that point, we were not doing anything wrong. The group behind us ended up joining ours, so we can just hurry up and get out of there. Once we finished, we went into the pro shop to see if there was somebody to talk to about his behavior. He was waiting there for us and still was aggressive, he is quoted telling me, "Don't shake your head like you know," once again talking down on us, targeting a woman. He chose to stand there and laugh and smile while our group expressed our concerns in a respectful manner. He chose to pick on our group and take his anger out on us for lord knows why. We were greeted with no respect here, and it honestly shocked me. We decided to leave and just get the director of golf's information, and once again the marshall, Woody's, behavior was completely dismissed and ignored. If a place allows a staff member to treat their customers like that I want no part in supporting that business. I am appalled at the behavior and actions of the staff at this course. If you feel like getting yelled at and degraded by a staff member this is the course for you! I also want to add that a Marshell's job is supposed to be to monitor the pace of play around the course. It took us 7 hours to finish 18 holes of golf. So on top of rude and aggressive treatment clearly the marshall isn't doing his job. Maybe a training on professionalism is needed.
