Thanks so much for the lack of compassion regarding the vehicles being vandalized on your lot! My simple question to "Scottie" was to ask when it occurred so I could turn it in to insurance, I was barely acknowledged and told to contact the number on CPD card. So much for customer service! Maybe you shouldn't have your customers parking in an alleyway with no lighting if you truly appreciate their business! I have a feeling this isn't the first or last time that this has happened, but it will be the last time I take your shuttle! read more

These guys might need to spend more time on customer service and less time trying to look good on TV commercials with young girls. Driver today left 1 minute early, even though they said they would look out for me. They claim on time, on time! I guess on time is there time. Use at your own risk, it will be LAST TIME! Now I get to hang out in the airport for four more hours instead of seeing my kids that I have not seen for several days. read more

Use MO-X when I come into St Louis or Kansas City. Great service. Prompt. Safe. I had a great driver today from MCI to Columbia. Recommend riding with Michael! read more

Mo-X is a great way to get to/from the airports in St. Louis or Kansas City. They will pick you up at your hotel/apartment, or you can go to the office to get on the bus/van. They offer you water and reading material for your ride, and they'll drop you off right at the terminal where your plane is. Same for the trip to Columbia from the airport. It's pretty reasonable, price-wise, especially because you don't have to park at the airport, and you can get a ride really early in the morning or really late at night. The drivers have always been super friendly, too. Get there on time, though - they wil leave without you! The one time that's happened, they let me take the next shutle free of charge, and people were nice enough about it. You can understand and appreciate that they need to keep a schedule. It's easy to book and pay online, or on the phone. They have free wifi, too! read more

MO Express has terrible customer service. My flight into St Louis was 30 minutes delayed. I ran to the pick up location and arrived (on my watch) 45 seconds after the designated pick up time and the driver wasn't there. I called the MO Express office for help and the guy who answered said there was nothing he could do to help, although he knew the driver was at the pick up site a minute before because they had just talked.. I asked if he could call the driver to tell him that I was there (the meeting site was inside baggage claim so there is no way the vehicle had left the airport while we talked), and the guy said he wouldn't do that but that I could wait 2 hours for the next shuttle. I have a meeting in Columbia that I can't miss so I had to rent a car. I asked for a refund and the guy said no. I then asked for a refund for my return trip to St Louis airport tomorrow since I have a rental car and the guy told me I had to cancel more than 24 hours in advance to get a refund. I will never use or recommend Mo-X again. read more

Cheaper than renting a car back and forth to STL and Columbia. Door to door service

Great experience this afternoon from Columbia to St. Louis airport. They picked me up at home right on time. And got me to the airport without any trouble. The van was clean, comfortable and quiet. Our driver, Joe, was great. I definitely recommend & will definitely be using them again. read more

Awful. I, and six other passengers, took a trip from St. Louis Airport to Columbia. Without warning, we were diverted to a McDonald's at a gas station, where we waited for an hour. Another van had broken down nearby, and our van was used to take the disabled van's passengers to the airport so they wouldn't miss their flights. None of us had a problem with this. The problem came when the customer 'service' manager- Patrick- came onboard. No apology given, no explanation, no compensation whatsoever from Mo-X. I finally spoke up and asked Patrick what the deal was. He told me to call Mo-X' s office. I called Mo-X's office and asked how the passengers would be compensated, and the person on the phone said that our return trip would be comped. He informed me that everyone would be contacted immediately once he 'got to the bottom of this.' Predictably, six days later, my wife (who was one of the passengers) was not called, nothing was done. The only silver lining was that Terry- the van driver- was incredibly polite and nice. Unfortunately, Terry is the exception rather than the rule at Mo-X. Most drivers are rude, and almost all of them text while they drive. I don't know why this is legal in Missouri, but I don't feel particularly safe when the bus suddenly lurches into another lane because the Mo-X driver is texting. Thankfully EZGO Bus provides a better service- AND cheaper. Either Mo-X will have to completely overhaul the way it does business, or it will eventually go bankrupt. read more

"People miss us by one minute all time time!" That's what the charming employee said to me in a cheery voice the night they left me at Lambert when I was 5 MINUTES late due to a late flight. I had called FROM THE AIR and asked if they would wait 5 MINUTES, since it was late at night, etc etc. Nope. When I got to the designated spot and called to complain, the rude man on the other end of the phone didn't even have so much as an, "Oh, that sucks. Sorry about that! But we have to stay on schedule..." Nope. Any idiot with an ounce of sense knows that you at least act like you care. Not these guys. I rent a car when I need to get to the airport and can't drive myself. Anything but patronize these jerks. Oh, and you don't get your money back if you miss them. Only credit for a future ride you're then forced to take. read more

Good service, friendly. On time. But their rides are very uncomfortable. They would be better off with more comfortable seats with head rests. Think I'll look into a bus next time. read more

Great and affordable service. Prompt pick-up, friendly drivers, and clean shuttles. Made my holiday travels hassle-free. Highly recommend!

First let me introduce myself a little. I am a 24 year old college student whose parents live outside of Washington D.C. I take trips out to see them 2-3 times a year, and this had been going on for the past 5 years. Every single time I need to get to the STL airport I use this service. Why? Because they are a friendly, helpful group of people who has a door to door service and always gets you there on time. I have NEVER had a negative experience with any of their drivers or their owners. I have both left my vehicle there at their office and have also been picked up from my residence. With both of these options I have never had any issues. As long as I live in Columbia and need a ride to the airport, I will always choose MO-X as my transportation. read more

MoX can be a tad bit pricey for my taste, but the door-to-door service is great. Clean shuttles and friendly, prompt, and courteous service. Would recommend. read more

Took the MoX for the first time yesterday from KCI to Columbia and was really surprised by the service. Our bus driver, Bob, arrived about 30 minutes before our departure and was very hospitable. He was super polite, friendly and even offered us some water for the road. We left the airport on the dot and got there earlier than expected (safely and smoothly). MoX is even generous enough to drop you off in front of any destination you would like when you make the reservation. Overall, I would say that this business is pretty good for the price (however there are cheaper alternatives). Based on my experience, I would say MoX is overall better than the others. read more

I end up taking Mo-X at least a couple of times every year. Honestly I wish there was some competition in this market, but they seem to have the only game in town - I've looked. I'll rent a car whenever I can and drive myself, but I don't want to do it in bad weather and sometimes I just don't want to spend the extra money. Yesterday we took Mo-X from Columbia to Kansas City. It was snowing - not heavily, but snowing, and the road was wet and visibility was limited, and the driver was really tailgating in traffic on Hwy 70, with 18 wheelers and quite a few cars around us. It was making me pretty nervous, but I didn't say anything because I know I feel the need for a bit more space around me in traffic than most people and I didn't want to make the guy mad and have him drive worse because of it. When we got out in KC, the first thing my husband said was how badly the guy was tailgating in the bad weather, that it was making him nervous too. I consider my husband to be too much of a tailgater for my tastes, and he thought the guy was being reckless too. I'd appreciate it if Mo-X would talk to their drivers about not tailgating. It's very dangerous and all it would take would be for one person in traffic to do something stupid or skid and we would have been in a big pile. read more

After a long day traveling from Europe, the last thing you want is your shuttle to leave early and leave you there at STL. But that is EXACTLY what happened to my wife. She had a flight that was going to cut it close, and we let them know. She got her luggage 4 minutes before the departure time and we called to let them know. Then she hustled to baggage 1, but they were gone. So incredibly callous. These folks just dont work with you. I guess there is no money in it. Well, there is a new choice in town folks, EZGO, and maybe they will do better. I will soon find out because I am done with MO-X. read more

Awesome service. I took Mo-X from a residence in Colombia to the Kansas City Airport. They picked me up and dropped me off right on time, despite a bad traffic accident on the way. The ride was comfortable, quiet, and spacious on a Monday afternoon. Our driver was courteous, offering us bottled water and a restroom break halfway through the trip. The cost came to about $60 before tip, and was definitely worth it. read more

I have had a series of bad experiences with Mo-X. The most recent happened this evening when I was waiting in the St. Louis airport for my shuttle. I stood waiting at the meeting place for over thirty minutes, but never saw the driver. I called the office when they were late and was told the driver had looked for me and left when he didn't find me. They didn't call me to see if I was there-just assumed I wasn't and hit the road. Now I have to wait over an hour for the next shuttle. Back when EzGo existed, they would call and make sure passengers were there and even wait or turn back for late arrivals. Mo-X has terrible customer service but without a competitor, I fear this review won't do much good. If you can make other arrangements to avoid Mo-X, I recommend you do! read more

I have been using MO-X for last several years and find their service reliable. However my experience this last friday (on 1/11/18, when it was snowing in ST Louis /Columbia) was great. My wife was to take the 8:30 PM shuttle and due to bad weather the shuttle was late and left more than an hour late, they got into Columbia after 12;30 AM, from the MO-X office the home drop offs were put in a different SUV and finally my wife got home by 1:20 AM. I appreciate the van driver for that trip and the fact that MO-X made every effort to drop off the passenegers . Thanks for your service. read more

I experienced the worst customer service I have ever delt with when checking my reservation from an employee named Wes over the phone. After a long day of travel and extreme weather I was talked down to from the get go. Wes was defensive with any real communication almost impossible because he was to busy standing on his soap box listening to the sound of his arrogant voice. He refused to help me resolve my issues, wouldn't let me talk to his manager, wouldn't give me his full name, didn't offer any solutions and he couldn't be bothered to use any kind of social gracies or manners on the phone. Never again. read more

I had a reservation on the last shuttle of the evening, and my flight ended up being delayed. As soon as the plane landed, I let MO-X know I was coming. I was out at the curb 3 minutes after the appointed time, but the shuttle had already left. I had to figure out over night arrangements for myself, and get additional care for my 90-year-old mother who was waiting for my return in Columbia. I get that shuttles must leave on time to get people to the airport in order to catch flights, but a company with excellent customer service would provide some support for those people who have reservations on the last shuttle of the night going home and who get delayed through no fault of their own. I would have gladly paid extra in order to return home that same evening. read more

Im sitting here stranded at kci. Thanks mo x. First of all, they only stop at 1 of the 3 terminals, so I had to take a shuttle to terminal c. With 5 minutes to go and almost there, I called to let them know the situation. The guy on the phone said they wouldn't wait. Finally, running full speed behind the shuttle and on the phone w/ mo x, the guy said he wouldn't even radio the guy to stop. So, now I get to wait 3 more hours for the next shuttle. Ill never ride mo-x again. Absolutely despicable! read more

Son's flight arrived into St. Louis Airport 45 minutes late. Last shuttle of the night back to campus in Columbia, two hours away, was at 10.00 pm. Son's plane on the ground at 10:00pm . MO-X left him at the curb. He could either find another way home ($250) at 10:00pm on Christmas night, or find a room and get back in the morning.($120). I booked trip with curb to curb service to help my son with the trip and MO -X could have cared less. As a mom, I am speechless at MO-EX lack of concern. read more

Awful seating. Extremely uncomfortable for anyone over 6' tall. I had more leg room and was MUCH more comfortable on the airplane,

I was stranded in Dallas and my flights changed 3 times. At one point I was rerouted to STL and needed a ride to Columbia to my car. 7 hours later it changed again, routing me straight back to Columbia. I called and they refused to refund. I contacted the owner who said I had to make changes 24 hours in advance. I explained I was stranded and didn't even make the reservation with 24 hours to spare. He was very rude, refused my refund, and called me a liar. I couldn't believe it. I haven't used them since and won't ever again. read more

I have ridden the Mo-Ex shuttle 45 times since they started their service 18 years ago! These trips included every possible round trip travel configuration from MCI to COMO, and well as RT from STL to COMO. During that time, I have experienced the absolute worst...worst traffic, worst weather conditions, and most snarly passengers. However, each time I was never concerned about arriving safely and on time. I highly recommend this service! Also, if you book online, the fare is slightly less, and you can accumulate points for a complimentary trip. Their "door to door" service (for a slight extra charge) is a wonderful option when you do not want to inconvenience family and friends to be picked up at their business location. read more

Let met start this by saying that many other 1-star reviews are "not recommended" by Yelp for some reason. Read them, they tell the truth. I have taken the MO-X before, and when nothing goes wrong, the service is great. Drivers are friendly, the give you water and a magazine. But when things go wrong, MO-X is beyond terrible at dealing with it. This past Saturday, I was scheduled on the MO-X shuttle leaving at 9 am from Kansas City Airport. Due to bad weather, an accident occurred on I-70 and shut the entire highway down, in both directions, for 6 hours. Obviously, this is a fairly extreme event that is beyond MO-X's control. Just as obviously, in a situation like this, customers expect a company to proactively communicate with them about the situation. When you make a reservation MO-X asks for a phone number. One might reasonably assume this is to keep you updated in the event of unexpected delays, but apparently not. I had to repeatedly call MO-X for updates, and they repeatedly complained their phones were "ringing off the hook." Once it took me 20 minutes just to get through (kept getting a busy signal) only to be put on hold. I asked why they couldn't call me or text me with updates, and they said they did not have the capacity to do that. I pointed out that their phones would not be constantly ringing if they proactively communicated with customers, and that they could do this via text (what most companies do), or by posting updates on the website, or even by just using twitter. They had no excuse why they didn't do any of these things. The icing on the cake? When the shuttle finally arrived 4 hours late, we were told not to get on because the shuttle needed to refuel. When it hadn't come back as promised 30 minutes later, I called and was told the driver was taking a much needed break, but lied to us about it. When I called back 30 minutes after that, I was told the shuttle broke down at the gas station, and the previous explanation about a break was actually made up. I then tried to get my money back, but was told that the shuttle breaking down was somehow not the company's responsibility (???) and they refused to issue a refund. I ended up splitting a rental car with 4 other stranded MO-X passengers. MO-X, the weather wasn't my fault any more than it was yours. You need to take responsibility for communicating with passengers, and take responsibility for the maintence of your own vehicle. You don't know if the weather had anything to do with the vehicle breakdown, and even if it did, that's certainly not my fault. A decent company would have apologized and refunded customers in this circumstance, but not MO-X. I am a professor at Mizzou and one of the other professors in my department had already warned me off MO-X. Please, take both of our advice and rent a car instead. It's not even that much more expensive and it might be cheaper. read more

This place is horrible! I will NEVER use them again!! I got there and gave the driver my luggage. I told him I was driving my car around the corner to park it. He said no problem he would be there if I hurried. I drove quick parked and ran back to the. Right as my feet hit the parking lot- literally 15 feet away- he started driving toward the exit. I went up to the bus and knocked on the doors and he refused to let me on. I couldn't believe it!! Off he went. I walked to the office and he had left my luggage sitting in the middle of the parking lot. He saw me walking up and he didn't care. It was a power trip for him. Then to make things worse the manager walked up to me with a sarcastic additude and was extremely rude. He could see I was upset and crying but he only wanted to feel big and like he could do whatever he wanted. He said we don't wait for anyone. I explained what Had happened and his response was rude and mean!!! He also said you shouldn't have gone and washed your car. I told him I didn't wash my car I was parking it there. He had no other response and he just walked into the office and locked me out. The most uncompasinate people ever!! If you read all the reviews they have huge negative reviews for similar actions. They feel they are the only shuttle in town and so they don't care about customer service! I recommend Grayhouse bus. You can get tickets for $19. This is way more reasonable!! Greyhound takes 2 hours and 10 min to get to St. Louis. Their service is fabulous especially compared to the MoX people!! Do not rely on this service. MoX is awful!!! read more

These guys are great!! I needed rides between St. Louis and Columbia, and used Mo X. They were on time, friendly, and so helpful. Ralph was such a nice driver, and offered us cold bottled water for the trip. On the way back to the airport, there was an accident with standstill traffic, and the driver found a way around that so we could keep moving. Excellent experience!! read more

I am so frustrated that they are the only shuttle to KC Airport from Columbia. My daughter attends MU and my second daughter will be coming next year. 6 years of shuttle service and probably over 50 round trip rides and I will do anything I can to make sure we fly out of St. Louis, just to avoid using them. In one year I have had three bad experiences. They have the absolute worst customer service and no compassion for people. I work in an industry that has to have customer service and I would never treat people the way they do. Even talked to the owner on the phone about an issue a while back and he had the same bad attitude, the actual drivers are nicer. If the owners don't appreciate the customers, why would I want to support their business! read more

Terrible company. I should have gone with EZGO shuttle bus and I will from now on. I've been flying all day, a total of 10 hrs and had my bag and ready to go at 8:29. The 8:30 shuttle left me. Our department administrator had booked the later one just in case, but she let them know I'd be trying to make the earlier one. I even notified them at 8:26 that I was there at the airport and getting my bag. By 8:29 I had my bag and they left me anyway. They said they'd notify the driver to wait but apparently didn't. They are an uncaring company. Read the reviews on Google. Same types of complaints. EZGO had a 9 pm shuttle so I got on their shuttle and am on my way home after my international conference. I don't even care that I already paid MoX, that's how upset I am. Done with MoX. read more

I have been using this service for years but will never again after today. The customer service provided by "Wes" is a total and complete joke. They have no problem leaving behind minor passengers traveling at the airport. Calls were made to MoEx making sure to prevent kids from being left and stranded in freezing weather and they refused to accept any responsibility for the lack of them carrying out their job duties of confirming passengers were onboard. Instructions of the terminal were received but no driver arrived. If you don't mind being left behind and called a horrible, irresponsible parent by "Wes" while being instructed to call the airport police so DFS can collect the kids, then this is the service for you. I begged them to please not leave my kids but they didn't care one bit and the driver refused to check the airport on a slow travel day because hey claimed it was inconvenient for them. Not a happy mother and I refuse to ever use this service again. My family will never travel with this service. Where's the competition? You are much better off spending the extra money for a truly reliable ride with Uber. Wes has no heart and accused a scared and sad mother of being irresponsible because I couldn't travel with my kids. What kind of a person accuses a customer of being a bad parent for not being able to travel with their kids? My husband died so being a sole parent and traveling isn't always possible when traveling back home. It breaks my heart to know people like this exist in this world. Longevity of employment with this company, such as Wes, needs to be modified. He clearly has lost the customer service touch this company used to be known for. Time for a new career Wes, because you have left a bad taste in my mouth with your jerk attitude. Not a good way to conduct business. Lost me and my entire family as faithful customers forever! read more

Fine enough, especially if you love being COLD! Absolutely freezing inside this bouncy little van.

Just called to schedule a one-way trip home from the airport. I'm arriving before 6am in STL and decided to spare my family the trouble of getting up in the middle of the night to recover me. The person who answered the phone was just shy of rude and provided no up front information although I specifically stated that I was calling to inquire about the service (inquire, not book). I was first asked which shuttle I intended to be on - I've never used you before so had no idea and said as much. The irritated man at the other end then asked for my arrival time. Following my answer he says, so shuttle 8. I took that to be shuttle number eight, instead I was booked for a shuttle that LEAVES at 8am (which I wasn't clearly told until after paying for my pick up). Why on earth would I want to fly overnight just to sit in my arrival airport for over two hours before starting my trip home? I could BE home in that amount of time! However, they already have my money, so I'm stuck. In hindsight, I should've just matched the guy's shitty attitude and forced him to be clear. Either way, this is the only time they're getting ANY of my money. I'll edit this after the ride to review the trip quality. read more

I have never hated a company so much with all of my soul, and every single cell in my body. Unfortunately, living in central MO there are few alternatives, and so every time I've reluctantly used their services over the last 5 years, I've learn anew the lower limit to basic human decency, and basic business courtesy. For a brief while, there was an alternative ... and it proved that things could in fact be done differently, done well, and that other company never disappointed. Now MO-X has bought them out, and it's back to misery. Staff are literally verbally abusive, and this business never holds itself accountable to any mistakes. Yet they have set up their service in a way that inevitably leads to faulting the customer no matter how earnestly you try to anticipate it from past experiences. My experience with MO-X is one major reasons I will try my best to never have to travel to central MO again, hoping every last member of my family moves so I don't have to use their service. read more

When I set up my roundtrip reservation, the dispatcher who took my reservation said if I get in early, I can catch the earlier shuttle back to Columbia. I arrived early and spoke with the MoEx driver telling him our luggage is coming off the carousel now. He shot back, "I'm leaving here in 3 minutes." This was a 7pm shuttle. I looked at my iPhone and said it is 7 minutes to 7, not 3 minutes to 7, so his reply was, "I am leaving here exactly at 7pm." I asked him if he would wait one minute so my luggage could come off the carousel and he said no. I called the MoEx office and spoke to the dispatcher who said the STL airport rules do not allow the shuttle driver to wait and he would be late. Seriously??? My luggage came off the carousel at 7pm and I was outside by 7:01 and the shuttle was gone. MoEx has just lost a very frequent flyer back and forth to STL in a NY minute! So Norm and Doc, while you might continue in business, it won't be by my support. One minute of patience would have secured my loyalty. I waited for the 8:30 shuttle, but it will be the last time I wait on MoEx for anything. read more

I will never use this service again, and I wish I had read the previous reviews prior to signing my kid up for transportation from KC airport to/from Columbia. The other comments are right, if it is freezing cold (literally) and pouring down rain you better be outside on the curb for pickup. No call, no nothing to let you know they are there. I had to pay a $200 Uber bill to get my kid to the airport (it would have been $350 to change the plane ticket). Leaving from KC the flight was delayed, my kid was waiting for his luggage at 5:45..trying to make the 6:00 Mo Ex bus. I called to tell them if he doesn't make it right at 6:00 he is literally on the way...please don't leave. I even called again to say he is on the shuttle between terminals at 5:54...Jacksons response was "I hope he is there at 6:00, our driver will leave on time". REALLY??? I also understand they can't be accommodating for every delayed flight but literally 2 minutes, he is on the ground with his luggage, please have some compassion. There aren't many choices for traveling to the airport to/from CoMo, but I have used this service for the LAST time. read more

I've had used Mo X to get to the Kansas City airport in the past year. However, I've got to say I am not very please with the service I received from them recently. I requested that they would pick me up at my dorm via door-to-door service, but they screwed up and never picked me up. I called them after waiting for 30+ minutes and they basically started to make excuses and they decided to put the blame on me when they were the ones who messed up everything! I ultimatley had to ask to be picked up and go to the airport at a later time, and barely made it to my flight on time, which was way too close of a call and I was quite lucky that my flight got delayed and I wouldn't have to pay a $50 fee to get a new plane ticket. I also ended up in a very, overcrowded van and had to be squeezed in with other people, creating a little bit of an awkward and uncomfortable experience. It didn't really help that the seats were not exactly comfortable to sit on for 2 hours.Yes, I did get to my destination in roughly 2 hours, but my latest experience with Mo X was too stressful and too much of a headache for me to think about using their services in the future. I'll probably just take a bus or carpool with people next time. read more

Woman Stranded Overnight at St Louis Lambert. My flight was late due to weather (needed to de-ice in Charlotte). Anyway, touched down at 9:53 and immediately called Mo Ex to say I had landed and had not checked bags and would be there right at 10 or a few minutes after. Dispatcher wouldn't even call the driver. Arrived at 10:02 pm and after another call was told I would have to wait for the 8 am shuttle THE NEXT DAY. My husband travels a lot. Large international and domestic air carriers occasionally hold 100+ customers so 2-3 can board and make their connection. Not with our local Columbia business Mo Ex! My husband called to complain. While the owner was cordial, he was unapologetic, saying Mo Ex does what it promises (leaving on time). Fair enough. I know every contract we sign has fine print; you have to give business to those companies that have a little bit of common sense. Sadly, this local Columbia business has none. So if you don't know if your flight will be 100% on time, especially if you are scheduled to arrive after 12 noon, I would not risk giving Mo Ex service. You could end up being stranded in STL or KC. To top it off, no refund either for a service they didn't provide. read more

My plane arrived at 7:35pm and the last Mo-X leaves at 8pm....I was on the phone with and letting them know my plane was delayed in Dallas for 45mins and it was no fault of my own....I,m running across the lot to get to terminal C at 7:55pm while on the phone with one off their guys....no red bus in sight at the KC airport and the guy tells me he cant hold them up for 2mins....my ticket was paid for and then he tells me that they dont do refunds and that I'm stuck in Kc till 9am the next morning......I don't know about you but I believe that this is poor customer service....KC was just hit with a monster winter storm and everything is behind....they don't go the extra mile for customers....and why dont they go to each of the three terminals before departing? thats service!!!! read more
