I had a terrible experience with MLZ. They were supposed to replace my steering gear box. I paid a deposit for the gear box and shipping, the next week I called to find out approximate timing and was told that I would receive a call when the item arrived. I called back the next week, was strongly reprimanded for calling, and was told that I would receive a call when the item arrived. I asked why I was being yelled at and the individual calmed down significantly, but continued to speak in a stern tone. The third week, yesterday, I received a phone call and was told that the item would cost over $400 more than I was promised and that it had never been ordered. Yesterday evening I sent an email saying that I would like a refund and would be picking up the car. This afternoon, I called and asked if they had received my email. I was told that the email had been received and the car had been ready this morning along with a check. I explained that because of my schedule at this point in the day I would be unable to pick up the vehicle until tomorrow. I was yelled at and told that the vehicle had been made ready first thing this morning. I explained that I had not received a response to the email and did not know. The individual then yelled again and said they did not need to respond to the email. The conversation ended shortly afterward.
Basically, I have been yelled at, provided with rude service, and lied to, and the repair I had been waiting for never got completed. read more
