Full Disclosure: I've never met a crepe shop I didn't like, so this review could maybe be considered biased.
It's just a damn good food.
You can go sweet, you can go savory... all in the same food!
You can't do that with everything.
Well, I guess you could technically do that with anything... but with a crepe it actually works.
This teeny tiny street-side cafe is nothing short of adorable.
The crepe combinations are perfection with tiny twists on classic combinations, and high quality ingredients.
The service is... just a few notches better than miserable, but maybe we just got there too late in the day for decent service.
I skipped breakfast earlier in the day and I'd missed dinner the night before so I was basically ready to order everything on the menu until my health and money-conscious dining partner (who did eat both breakfast and dinner the night before) stepped in.
I ordered a full pot of ginger tea that had big chucks of ginger root floating in it. It was good, but not match for the ginger tea served across the way at Laibon. My partner and I ended up splitting a sweet and a savory crepe - both were great in their own way, but I honestly think I would have needed both for just myself in order to be full... then again, I'm American and giant portion sizes aren't lost on me, so perhaps just one crepe is enough for you regular people.
One thing to note about MLS that's different from pretty much everywhere else we went in the Czech Republic, is that this place takes both cash (Czech koruna and/or Euros) and charge... though if you charge it will be begrudgingly and they'll probably try to tell you they don't at first, but if you have no other forms of payment, they will allow you swipe your plastic. read more
