I regretted this decision as my husband passed away two months after our boy was born. They were both so apologetic and kind and invited me back when I was ready to take baby pictures for me. I reached out again when I had reached a safe point in my grief when he was 9 months old. They even took some photos of him with his grandmothers as a combined grandmothers, baby, and mommy and me shoot. Not only did they capture one of my favorite times in his babyhood, they we so sweet with all the grandmas. They navigated a grumpy baby and were so understanding. But I cannot say enough about the experience we had with Ashley through this process. We started off shooting our engagement pictures in San Francisco running all over town to get the perfect shots. Mission accomplished :) Then, when it came time for wedding day, I threw my team for a loop and switched up my wedding coordinators last minute. Ashley was so supportive and made me feel at ease because "they got this"...The day went off without a hitch. We had a list planned out ahead of time to make sure we got all the must-have pictures. Everything was planned out and smooth because we had talked about it all ahead of time. I didn't have to worry about a thing! I can't say enough about making sure you have great vendors and Ashley dePencier Photo, Evermoore films, Bakersfield Country Club, and Freestyle Mike were the DREAM team. I also wanted to add that Ashley had taken some pictures of one of our family members who recently passed away unexpectedly. She was gracious enough to go through her files and give me this picture for us to use for a tribute to her... Melissa was able to give me the simple, clean look I was going for and the airbrush lasted all day since we had it done that morning for our evening wedding. Melissa was also able to do a more intricate make up for my sis. She was very flexible and able to give my grandma a flawless look Likewise, Elsa was able to do 2 updos, waves for me, and my grandma's hair. My hair made it through a choreographed first dance that involved multiple spins and dips I am so glad we did a trial run for both make up and hair. It helped relieve stress and narrow down how I wanted my make up and hair. The beautiful life team also did an amazing job of collecting our inspiration looks and booking us with a team with more experience in the looks we all wanted. The only hiccup was a mistake on the schedule sent out a few days before the wedding. I seemed to have received another wedding group's schedule along with mine. In addition, my schedule had a different hair and make up team listed. I freaked out thinking we were not getting airbrush as we planned since Melissa was the only one that did airbrush at the time. He had great interaction with our students and explained to them how the timer worked before each group took their photos. They provided the backdrop and props to wear or hold.
