I don't know if Eliseo rushed through my photos or what. He said they all had minor editing/retouching, but I don't think that's the case. All my photos (all 500-600 of them) have yellow/dark lighting and my photos have the backdrop cut off. Unfortunately, I can't use most of these photos because of the poor quality. When sharing the photos with multiple family members, all commented on the poor quality. It seemed to me that he didn't care about what he was giving me. Unfortunately, the photos look like a compilation of ones people took on their iPhones. I asked Eliseo if there was anything that could be done about the photos. Again, he didn't care to make it right. He told me the photos already had minor retouching. My intention and request was to work with Eliseo to improve my photos. The backdrops were already cut off and there was nothing that could be done about that. However, the lighting could have been modified to make them look less dark and yellow. When I conveyed this to Eliseo, I got a very nasty response back via text saying "I'm a 50x international award winning photographer and if you wanted something different it should have been brought to our attention... as far as professional it does not get any more professional than us thank you". I never in a million years expected this type of disrespectful response and it was very uncalled for. I also didn't know i had to tell a professional photographer to make sure they use good lighting and to not cut off the backdrop. I'm still very upset about everything that happened and again, he didn't even try to make it right. I spent $2,000 for one day photo and video and looking back, I wish I would have picked another photographer. What I will say though, if the lighting on my photos were adjusted and fixed, I would have been okay. The fact that he didn't care to do so and was extremely rude on top of it just left me very dissatisfied.

We did have some quotes that were significantly lower, however, those photographers then charge $20 per picture once you receive the gallery. That's not what we wanted. We don't want our whole family messaging each other about which ones they want or make duplicated purchases. We just want a full gallery for all members to download. On the day of, Makenzie arrived early and we walked around to pick the spots best for the pictures. She waited so patiently for our big family (including 5 kids) to get there. Once we got started, she knows exactly what to do, how to direct us and made sure we got everything, the big family as a whole and each family (and even some animals)! Everybody loved how she worked and for a bunch of us that didn't know how to pose we enjoyed the session a lot! The pictures came out after xmas, they were beautiful, organic and so wholesome! Our engagement shoot was in SF and he came up and it was like being with a friend. My husband and I had such a great time, every place we went he would not only capture us, but the magic around us. During the wedding he was super calm and really captured the love of the ceremony. He had great ideas about lighting, placement, and poses. He did not approach us before, during, or after the wedding to explain, apologize, or offer compensation for the no show. A few months after, I wrote a letter explaining my concerns and frustrations. His response was apologetic stating the second photographer had an emergency that day and was willing to compensate in the form of a print credit or special print. My husband and I decided on a print credit. Upon texting our decision to Austin, he denied offering this option. Ultimately, we settled on a picture album. There are some picture flaws I feel a second photographer could have remedied. There was a U-Haul in the background of family photos, my dress had a small train that was bunched in a few shots, and there were few guest photos. In retrospect, due to the lack of professionalism and accountability, I would have performed a more thorough search of photographers in the Bakersfield area. Austin was very easy to work with and took many beautiful pictures that we will cherish for years to come; however, I do not feel the service and price were equivalent.

When we drove up we didn't see it at first since it's a small building, but once we hit that u-turn we were able to see it. We were prompt and came at the correct time of our appointment, but when we got there they were shooting a students picture and there was another student waiting inside. We probably waited about 10-15 min before they started on my son's photo shoot, but that's not bad considering other places take longer. The guys taking the pictures were pretty quick. They took him to different areas of the lot to get different backgrounds and poses. Several of my son's pictures came out good and I loved them. The guys were professional and very polite. I was in shock to see some of the negative reviews only because we were treated very well. The gal inside was super friendly also and communicated to us that there was another student in front of my son and was informative on how the ordering was going to be like and what to expect when the pictures were done. I really liked this place. If you're trying to find it, don't drive too fast or you'll miss it like we did. There's not a huge amount of parking space, so just know it's limiting parking and make sure to come at your scheduled time so you don't mess with someone else's photo shoot. I'm glad Stockdale High School was able to get this company, I liked the way the staff was and their professionalism. I would recommend them!

Besides being poor quality prints, they went above and beyond to ruin my daughter's photos. Now, I know that sounds a little crazy - like, how did someone else ruin my kids' photos right? Well, my daughter has blue hair this year and we had just had it dyed professionally days before picture day. The blue was vibrant and bold, but they decided to black out her hair in the photos! I did not pay for, or even ask for, the pictures to be retouched in any way and apparently they thought my kid should be modified for her photos. Super offensive because when I see pictures of my child down the road, I want to remember exactly how she looked. Even if blue hair is a little unconventional to some.

She was still able to capture beautiful pictures outdoors and make sure I was safe and comfortable. I was also able to have her take family photos which I was nervous about because I have a very energetic two year old and a sometimes fussy 11 month old, but she was patient and creative with my little ones and still able to get great photos of our family despite a few baby tears and a toddler trying to escape every moment! They do their photos in their backyard studio, and while the location was initially somewhat off putting, I've never had a more pleasant experience EVER. They allow you to view the pictures after the shoot right away and you get to choose which ones you like best and to make changes if any are necessary.
