We are only 50% complete at this point and are truly disappointed in the franchise in Lake Worth. As we have progressed through the build we have run into a multitude of line items that were well underestimated even though our estimator had detailed information from us, our architect and in some cases the actual vendor. We have tried repeatedly to set up a meeting with the franchise owner and have never heard back. The invoices for payments 2 and 3 arrived on time but still no response from the owner. While the concept is good, the execution in Lake Worth TX is not up to snuff.

I Have Live in My home built by UBH in Ft Worth for almost 2 and a half years now. And after this…read moreweek I decided it was time to leave a review. They say they will communicate with you every step of the way through the build process. This is not true. Getting any information from the project manager was like pulling teeth. He or the office did not listen to me when I explained the permit requirements in Denton County for the culvert. and this caused a nearly 90 day delay in completion because they weren't prepared for it. The Project Manager Lied and at one point requested a preliminary walk through. Then after turned paperwork in as if house was done. before culvert was on or septic was in. When I had AC problems and called AC tech that installed the first year because House was 83 degrees. Said AC is fine. Next year Ttrane said AC is Fine but original Tech is no longer in business. Finally called my neighbor this year. he looked at it and said it would never cool my home because it was a 3 ton unit. Now who puts a 3 ton unit in a 1880 sqft home in north texas? no one. I had a Air Load on my house and it requires 4 ton min to cool. So I was left either pay to cool or have house at 85 degrees and 300 electric bill in summer. They Did Certain Things Well. My Concrete guys did a great job. Framers did a great job except for one wall not going where it was supposed to go. but that was the Project managers fault. Dry wall was great. Brick work was great. But Communication was non existent. And problems didnt exist until they caused problems for them.If they had listened in the beginning it would have saved everyone time. I I wont say dont buy from them. I will say watch them like a Hawk. Trust nothing any of them say. And get everything in writting then dont give them an inch. In retrospect, I was to easy going just trying to move things along. And And I didnt realize they put a 3 ton unit in my house until recently. And Now i am out $7,000 replacing a nearly new system in a nearly new house because UBH wanted to save money they didnt need to. Then a few months after I moved in. I get a check for $2000 dollars for construction escrow refund. So why did they cheap out on my AC to begin with? Overall? I do Like My House. But I am not Loving UBH

It took nearly four months just to get someone to our property after receiving a newly engineered plan for our septic lines. Despite multiple promises of return calls from Kim and another office staff member, we were constantly met with silence and delays. I finally had to become more assertive just to get a response and schedule service. When the crew arrived, they mentioned that our irrigation lines could be damaged during the job but claimed they would do their best to avoid it. Unfortunately, I watched them drill across our entire 0.7 acre lot without marking anything beforehand. They later flagged three damaged irrigation lines, but when inspected and repaired, there were actually over six cuts, along with electrical wiring damage. Now we are left with an unfinished job and nothing but excuses and back and forth communication from Josh, Kim, and their customer service team. To top it off, the third party contractor they hired kicked empty water bottles into the open trenches, and I had to go outside and ask him to clean up his own trash.
