Such a lovely new location for MK Dental Excellence. Once located in the bottom floor of a building in the heart of Madeira, Dr. K now has plenty of staff to get her patients in and out in a timely manner. The hustle of getting tiny dark "cavities" filled is one thing you have to look out for. So if you have minor issues with your teeth watch out! They will elevate your problem to a grave one and suggest thousands of dollars for corrective care. If you're neurotic about your teeth, this one's for you! They can do it all from teeth whitening, aligners and veneers (but most do the same). read more

rip off artist. bad dentist. they refused to fix cavity i went there for. dropped my temporary crown on the floor & put it on without cleaning it. filled gap in the gumline with enamel which covered my gums, very painful. demanded i sign paperwork which they refused to let me read, started screaming at me in office when i refused. a year later, they just tried to bill me another $250, claiming it was for a scan my insurance did not cover. i still have the painful cavity i went there to have repaired. but they used up all my insurance, im on ssi after breast cancer. thanks read more

I had a cleaning on December 20th. Excellent care and service. I'm going back to have two fillings replaced. It's an excellent practice with a stellar staff. I would recommend MK Dental to anyone needing dental work. read more

Worst mistake of my life trusting Dr. K! Don't let the new office fool you. She takes your money and doesn't have the skills to get the job done. Dental Board involved. Worse decision to give them all of my money upfront. read more

Stay away from this dentist, she took 30k from one of my coworkers for a set of implants and its been over a year and she still has not seen the permanent set yet. She keeps giving her temporary sets that last a month or so and then break. This single mom borrowed money to fix her teeth and is being robbed. I am calling the dental boars on this dentist asap. read more

Really enjoyed Dr. Kejriwal and the staff at MK Dental! I found them all to be very helpful and resourceful in answer my questions and getting an appointment. They are very professional and provide comprehensive care. Instead of bouncing around to a bunch of different places, they do everything in house-- normal cleaning, whitening, crowns, dentures-- you name it. Will definitely be back and would recommend to others. read more

I responded to an advertisement for free cleaning x-rays and exam. I had the work done, and my dental insurance was charged (i.e. not free). The dental hygienist was fantastic, and she and the dentist agreed on a treatment plan. On my second visit the dentist kept walking around saying "those teeth are not viable." I asked what made her change her mind and she said additional thought. That caused me to have three teeth on my bottom right extracted. Very painful and took almost 6 hours. I went to one more session and decided that I was being taken advantage of. The dental assistants were great, but the dentist had an ulterior (and unspoken ) motive. I felt betrayed and I quit coming. read more

Had 3 teeth extracted here and had a good overall visit. Friendly staff, Dr. K was nice despite reviews and such that I have read saying she wasn't. I feel that overall the work they did was done well. No complaints from me. Nice office and seemingly top of the line equipment. read more

Just awful. Hygenist did my filling and doctor redid it. When I got gome there were cuts and sores that took weeks to heal. Never again.

They do a great job on cleaning but i swear to god one time during a cleaning they forgot to clean my whole bottom teeth and didn't rinse. They also try to upsell and shame me for things u don't want don't or can't afford and assure me all the terrible expensive things that even if i agreed to the wk would eventually be done. They also drill and fill ,and i swear to god on any dark spot cavity or not. Im constantly pressured into braces or ivisilign. Im 32 have had braces in school my teeth are pretty damn straight except for a very few minor movements for wisdom teeth that came in and were removed. I like my teeth once again shaming for upselling. They also charge u a fee if u dint cancel in 48 hrs but only give u a reminder call read more

I arrived for my appointment. I had broken off the back of my tooth and needed to have it seen and this was the first office that took my appointment on an emergency basis as a first time patient. Had a horrible experience getting g an X-ray of my broken tooth; the young lady kept cramming the end of the appliance at an awkward angle that was slicing my lower jaw inside my mouth and kept insisting I bite down on the appliance. More pressure caused more slicing so I backed off and removed the appliance and told he it was cutting me. She tried again and got louder this time telling me to bite down and I said I can't it is cutting my mouth. She then found some cotton to place in my mouth under the appliance which helped with the pain and took the x-ray. The dentist was very nice and explained my options and said someone would be meeting g with me to go over the financials. I was led into another room and sat down in front of a computer screen and told to wait. HOWEVER; on that screen was the details of each appointment with name, phone numbers and services to be provided. I looked up and realized I could also get into every file for each person that would probably provide more information like SSN and dates of birth for everyone I saw on that screen. So if you were a patient on 8/24/22 you should be concerned as all your private medical information was open and available to me. I thought about taking a photo as evidence but did not. Fortunately for you I am an honest person and did not access any of it, as everything I needed to do so was right in front of me. I was alone in that room for a good five minutes. When the lady came back in I explained to her I was really uncomfortable with this situation and she kind of blew it off. I will not go back. I canceled any future appointments and will be continuing my search for a dentist. read more

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE INSURANCE. My fiance came here about a year ago because he did not have dental insurance at the time, and had not been to the dentist in a while and needed a cleaning. They told him he had about 10 cavities, tried to talk him into buying the "insurance" they offer, and set him up with a plan to get all of the cavities fixed, which totaled around $2500. Getting work done on his teeth scares him, not going to lie, so he honestly waited (over a year later) to go to a new dentist now that he has good dental insurance. We fully expected the new dentist to tell us the same thing, if not more cavities, since it has been so long. NOPE. He has zero cavities, teeth are just fine. MK Dental Excellence took advantage of the fact that he had no insurance, would have done unnecessary work on his teeth, and charged us an arm and a leg for stuff that he didn't need. I still can't believe it! DO NOT trust this place!! read more

Despite all of these nasty reviews on here I love this dental office. I have had several dentists in the past 2 years trying to find the best one until I finally settled on MK Dental. Anyone curious about this business I ask you to please ignore these negative reviews at first and form your own opinion. As some one who has been to many rude, unprofessional, uncaring and lazy dentists.. I can confidently say this office is NOT one of them. The dentist has done nothing but make me feel comfortable along with all the wonderful dental assistants. Maybe some people just don't speak up or communicate with their heath providers but they ALWAYS try to be gentle or easy when working on my teeth. If something hurts, they ask and ask how to help. I don't buy all these negative reviews... as some one who hates the dentist, I really don't think they do a bad job at trying to make me feel comfortable. People are drilling in your mouth.. opening it in ways that it normally doesn't OF COURSE ITS UNCOMFORTABLE. People are just adult babies. One of my first visits here they wanted to do a full panoramic x-ray... I told them "hey I think I just had one of these done and insurance only pays for one every 5 years etc.." so they decided to do the X-ray and just write it off if it had already been done because, and I quote "the dentist needs to see inside your mouth" I find it hard to believe any dishonest, money hungry throttling is going on here if they do stuff like this. People are just so entitled to be treated like a princess at a dang medical appointment. It's the dentist babe, it's going to be uncomfortable. I highly recommend this place, I feel respected and appreciated as a patient. Just take these negative reviews with a grain of salt. If you're looking for a new dentist. read more

I love Dr. K and her staff. I have been going to this dentist for multiple years and always happy with my annual cleanings. Dr. K and her staff are very patient care centered. She is so knowledgeable and also does certain orthodontic care which is extremely helpful!! Highly recommend. read more

Everything they did was wrong. The cleaning did not even include a person to rinse your mouth. I had work done on one tooth and part of the tooth fell out. They said i needed a post and more filling. (it fell out too) When i received shots to numb my teeth (not sure what is was not novocaine) I receieved not one but two shocks. i almost jumped out of the chair. She the main Dr. explained she hit a nerve. Yes she did! I have NOY gotten back the full feeling of my tongue after 3 months, Not sure if it will ever come back. I have lost the ability to taste food properly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also had teeth filled and it feels like the filling wasnt mixed properly and will eventually fall out. I tastes medicinely! I have been to many dentists before ( i am 63) however none as bad as Dr Kejriwal. If they want to give you a novocaine shot i would run away as fast as i could. My name is Greg Howard just to know i'm not joking . And my number is 891-3456. NOT RECOMMENDED. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place. The staff and doctor not professional, lady on the front desk not friendly at all. I didn't like how they done the cleaning and exam. I have to ask them how to clean my tooth, the hygiene just scrub the tooth in couple places and rinse with water, that is it. No efforts to do good job. I got the feed back only when I start ask for it, no explanation, I am as the patient want to know what you going to do. I was pulling words from there mouth. I am as the new patient expecting friendly staff, doctor didn't even say hi, till am the one who greeting her. The acting like there the one who doing favor for me. read more

If Could have the option of no stars for this review, there wouldnt be not one.I Started care with Mk early October and got my teeth cleaned. They did x-rays before hand and Had a pretty good idea the condition of my teeth. The dental assistants were cool at first. So after being directed into the chair by them, the dentist comes in and checks my teeth. She Poked down inside my tooth that had a hole in it KNOWING there was a infection! She seemed very careless and didnt seem to bother her at all.So this made me very skeptical about her skills or level of consideration about her clients. So I Get a cleaning fromthe dental assistant and honestly thats all I was willing to get after that.I Really Wanted to get my teeth in line because i know they arent in good shape.I Got My Cleaning and proceeded to the front desk.I am immediately overwhelmed with the management woman trying to get me on a payment plan for the multiple items that needed to be worked on.I honestly felt it was all a hustle.I did reschedule because I was conflicting with the idea of the condition of my teeth and the careless first observation of my teeth and i felt at the time i might as well get it done.Im given meds for the infection and told to come back in for a root canal rather shortly. So i took the meds but i could still feel the infection.my previous root canal done by another office waited until the infection cleared up enough so when they operate, the chance if infection spreading is less likely. Not With This Dental Office.I Go in for the second visit and immediately a clip board was in my hand.it was to sign concent for the treatment, before they even put the bib on.I didnt feel sure because my gums were still inflamed and It didnt feel right. So i express that Im not use to a root canal being performed in this condition and that I Dont Trust it.The Dentist and dental assistants Were trying to convince me that i would be numb and that it doesnt matter if the infection is still there.!? I was pissed at how careless they were and still pushing for it.I felt like I was conflicting but my gut told me no.So the dentist leaves as im talking with the assistants and telling them why I dont want to.I exited the office and dont plan to go back.I also noticed after it all,The dental assistant Chipped my back upper left tooth with the power drill tool!! I couldnt feel it at first because its all the way in the back on the side of the tooth facing out.I was referred to this office and did not pick it on my own.Ill Never refer or go back to this dental office! read more
