First of all - I had a bad vibe from the second I walked in - or tried to come in for 2 minutes. I was stuck in the door with a stroller with my toddler in it. The door was extremely heavy and I was attempting to push her through and she got stuck and I kept pushing and it wasn't working. Three grown adults - 2 women and the owner - a man - sat there and watched me struggle and not a single one of them said wow let me help you. I should have taken that as my cue and honestly left. Anyway - aside they can clearly care less for mothers - the owner completely low balled me on my Cartier watch. Yes that's right a Cartier watch for $200. I can get a Michael Kors for less than that. How silly. I was so upset over the door situation and just driving to DTLA with a toddler in general - and he knew that I'm assuming - so he took advantage - and I let him rob me. I did show him online they sell for a lot more than that - and he said well yeah - and still gave me $200...so a Cartier watch is same level as a crappy Michael Kors? Ok! Last but not least - when a man came in to "buy" a Rolex they were all over him like white on rice - having me wait while they bend over backwards. The guy didn't even buy the watch from what I saw - and honestly I can care less. If you are a mother or you aren't buying or selling a Rolex I would stay away. I've never felt so discriminated against quite honestly. I will say, the owner did finally offer to help me with the door as I was leaving - but honestly the damage was already done. I wish I kept my watch and sold it myself online instead of getting swindled.

Wow this place is the biggest scam artist business I have ever been to. This people I bet more then half of the reviews are there friends, there is no way they would have 5 stars this crooked place. First of all you buy a watch from them for say $8500 that watch is 8 years old plus it has out of country papers for a rolex example. You don't even know if you are buying a real watch or a replica. The two brothers try to buy your watch at such a low price and then they sell there most likely not real watch at 2x the cost that its worth. Made a deal with them once to establish a contact but turned out to be a really bad choice. When I get home the watch sapphire glass is missing a hologram on the crystal which was changed, plus the time stops the next day being only of your wrist for less then 24 hours. I would never suggest anyone go to this place to buy anything and if you do good luck dealing with out of country crooks. Mark my words if you have an item they will low ball you for the price. And if you want to buy there item they will haggle you till you either give in or simply get upset and leave out of that cell. Plus another shady thing they do is have people online advertising for them to buy watches and work with them on deals and they are most likely buying watches with not original parts from people they have all over online. So BUYER BEWARE don't say that you have not been warned watch and see for yourself if you want to. But the other negative review said it exactly the way they operate trust me stay away and go to a real place that is not a hole in the wall. You are spending your hard working money spend it wisely and know exactly what you are buying and that every piece you know would be real. WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND to anyone looking to spend lots of money at this place especially buying a Rolex like I did and had the worst experience possible. read more

The two brother are just a complete joke in the business. Wont ever go back to this place. I bought one watch for my Uncle a Rolex watch purchased from them for around 15k, a simple datejust And was told that it was a stolen watch after I brought it in and had it confiscated at the Rolex service center. They buy the items on Craigslist and sell it to the public. I don't understand how they are still operating this fraudulent company. Buyer you have been warned do your own research and see for yourself. They are such great talkers you will just go with what they are saying, you have been warned. read more

One of the worst experiences I've had at any high end store. Thank goodness I didn't buy my watch from these imbeciles as they are the worst Rolex representatives in Los Angeles. They sell a bunch of broken watches claiming they are new. They also buy stolen item and make them seem legit by giving you boxes that don't match the watch, also most watches are without card and don't come with all the links. Really shady both brothers that work there.Buyer beware you take this item after you purchase from here and bring it to a real Rolex repair store you are getting your watch confiscated. They will say its your fault and you will be out a lot of $$$$$. They will say you are lying the watch was clean but you are left with nothing and having to go to court. read more

Well after 30 seconds of google and seeing all his 5-star Google and Yelp reviews, I knew Modern Swiss would be at least worth a phone call. Eddie was super responsive to my initial inquiries (even one that I realize in hindsight was way after normal business hours, my bad), extremely knowledgeable on the subject, and excited for me to mark my celebration with a timepiece. No going back and forth trying to sell me something that might've made him a better profit, he understood my budget (and more importantly my wife's directive - something timeless and not fad-driven) and kept me focused on the prize. 30 minutes later after explaining everything I needed to know about the watch (it's a complicated watch), we completed the transaction, elbow bumped and I was on my way. As soon as I left his shop, I had a huge goofy smile under my mask because not only did I have one of my dream watches, but I had found something that was timeless, got a great deal, I had peace of mind that it was authentic, and got great customer service from the initial inquiry through the completion of the transaction. Eddie in turn got a customer for life who asks way too many questions.
