I was quite happy with my lunch at this establishment. I found it on my way to the Plantin-Moretus Museum. I wanted a quick bite and this place looked very inviting. While the interior was quite nicely done, it was a lovely day and eating outside was the obvious choice.
It was clear this spot was a coffee shop/cafe hybrid. It was not busy and, in fact, I was there for a late lunch between 2:30 and 3:00 PM, not too far ahead of their closing time. My server was quite pleasant and it was likely she was actually the proprietor. The menu was largely focused on healthier options. I chose the Hummus Salad, which included hummus (of course) on greens with lentils, beets and granola. It was accompanied by multi-grain bread. It was an interesting option and was quite a satisfying light lunch. My lunch was accompanied by a very good cup of coffee.
The prices were quite reasonable. My final bill was €16.50, which seemed fair. Given the quality of the food, I thought it was a good deal. If you are in the area and looking for a light bite or a coffee break, this is a good choice. read more
