Right as you walk in, there's a cozy café tucked to the left with some fun seasonal drinks. Since it was April (now May as I'm writing this), they had a spring menu. I got the Peep Mallow Latte (so good!). I love Peeps, so the moment I saw it on the board, I ditched my lemonade plans without hesitation. The store also had quirky bookmarks, a few signed copies of books (always a cool touch), and a discount section full of hidden gems. We didn't end up buying anything this time but it was still such a lovely place to wander and frolic through.

I religiously checked the official Baggu site every single day to no avail. I just so happened to be lurking the Baggu Reddit where I was linked to the Drooz + Company site and lo and behold there was my BAG!!!! Checkout online was super-duper easy and I was able to secure my bag within minutes! Not even a minute after checking out, I got a text from the store asking if it was a gift purchase and if I'd like it to be gift wrapped, as well as double checking that my shipping address was correct since it was different from my billing. The thing that stands out to me the most about this shop is the quick, efficient and genuine interaction I've had with the staff. Super friendly and quick! Plus, added bonus of being able to support a small business! The package arrived ahead of the stated delivery time and was nicely wrapped in tissue paper with a cute thank you card and note from staff. The bag is perfect! At the checkout counter they have a bunch of bookmarks and stickers available. The mid-back room is all non-fic, and had two chairs if you're the type who wants to sit with your wares for a moment. They back room is used clothing and antique fabrics, and DOES have a fitting room! There's a room for kids and teens too. I recommend you have good knees going in as there are books in every possible nook, high and low, including under tables. There's a read for every flavor and a recommendation for every reader. The shop owners are very knowledgeable of their stock. Parking- for cars I believe there's a back lot? But it's probably easier to just street park.

Each time, my experience…read morewas not that great because of poor customer service - there were four or five people working behind or near the counter, and none of them greeted or acknowledged me and carried on with their personal conversations amongst each other or ignored me to continue sorting through clothing and such. As a seller, I left with what I can only describe as a bad feeling. I brought in six bags full of clothing and a pack n play. After a few hours, I was alerted that they were ready to settle up. When I returned to the store, one of the workers brought out a bin with a small stack of my clothing and told me their offer. This person then explained why they weren't taking more of my items, but it seemed as if they were reading from a script and I felt like I was being lectured to because of the tone that was used. The pack n play was taken out of its bag and not packed back up properly. I should add that I went to the store with my baby in a stroller. I struggled to grab all 6 bags, the pack n play, and wheel the stroller out of the store and all the employees just watched me. No one even offered to open the door for me.
