The outdoor patio is covered with a "green" ceiling and offers welcoming shade for the sun. The Mosel river and promenade runs just below the hotel.

We usually try to avoid hotel restaurants - as mostly resemble mediocre overprized food - but this place is amazing. I had the pasta with fresh truffle - a steal at EUR 15,90. Everyone loved it - and asked if we can go again today.

There are amazing walks and views to discover. The restaurant and Landhaus are lovely and the chef is really superb! Try the Rieslings -- Artur the owner/vintner is a wealth of information and his wines are such a wonderful value (I always bring a case home). His charming wife runs the hotel side and speaks excellent English. They have several rooms that will accommodate multiple families or groups traveling together.

As we were leaving, I handed the waitress five euro. The owner came over and started yelling at me. He said it's 9.50 euro for one small beer and a carafe of tap water. I don't think he could have been more rude. The four of us were going back for dinner and breakfast, but I wouldn't support this restaurant now.
