The artist himself is managing the gallery that is set up in a shipping container. He has art for sale and articles of him traveling the world doing murals! On the side, he has his workstation and you can see his work-in-progress canvases which were cool. Very chill and lowkey dude and his artwork is beautiful! Definitely worth the visit. Don't miss it as it's tucked away by the second parking lot on the dirt road, in the middle of both food truck plazas.

After lunch we made it a point to find the gallery. It's in the back behind all the other vendors but has lots of open space around it. I like the set up and how the gallery is a converted container. It totally fits his style! We started looking and come to find that Hilton was working the gallery! He is a very nice and down to earth guy. We purchased a print and had some nice conversations with Hilton. He even entertained our daughter who was all over the place. Perfect little memory and story behind the piece that will be on our wall at home. We like Hilton's style of blending street art with surf themes. Definitely worth stopping by and checking out his work.

I tried to…read morearrange for a custom order for my dad on the mainland and after weeks of frustrating email exchanges with the gallery where I couldn't get basic questions answered, I finally was able to get ahold of someone over the phone who ahead every excuse under the sun about why it wasn't their fault. (I was literally just trying to include a personalized note in the shipment and ensure the prints would be signed). She made no attempt to take responsibility, make me feel valued as a customer and when she asked me what I wanted her to do, I said well I think saying I'm sorry would really help. Mind you this was after 10 min on the phone with her already and no expression of understanding whatsoever. Shockingly, she said she would not apologize, at which point I said I would be cancelling my order. It's a shame that's a studio with such beautiful art is supported by staff with such an ugly approach to customer service. I highly recommend you avoid this gallery and instead shop at one of many other island galleries that truly understand the meaning of Aloha.

There is a view of the ocean from the front and a view of the mountains from the top floor. The Gallery walls inside are filled with Kim Taylor Reece art of the Hula Kahiko and ballet. There are also great gifts to be found-t-shirts, boxes, books, prints, calendars, wine stoppers. The fine art is fantastic to dream of hanging in my house! There are also sculptures -both inexpensive and expensive. The gallery has a sense of place-it makes you want to linger and discover more. There are artifacts and history and culture. It has a modern yet nostalgic feel. Kim Taylor Reece did a wonderful job of presenting his art and representing Hawaii.

From the moment my wife and I walked through the door, Mark made us feel genuinely welcome. It didn't feel like we were walking into a gift shop--it felt like we were visiting an old friend. We spent a long time talking with him, hearing about his life, his wife Christine who personally makes many of the pieces in the store, and their marriage while celebrating our own honeymoon. The shop itself is incredible, filled with unique pieces created by local artists and members of the community. There are so many one-of-a-kind handmade gifts at reasonable prices, and it's the kind of place where you can find something meaningful instead of the typical tourist souvenirs. What touched me most, though, was learning everything Mark does for the local stray cats. As a fellow cat lover, seeing his compassion was inspiring. He cares for more than 20 stray cats and kittens, feeding them every night, helping get them spayed and neutered, taking them to veterinary appointments when they need care, and working to find the kittens safe, loving homes through rescues and adoptions. The amount of time, effort, and kindness he pours into these animals is truly remarkable. Supporting this shop means supporting someone who gives so much back to his community--not just through the local artists he showcases, but through the care he shows for animals and the people he meets. Mark is one of the kindest, most genuine people we've had the pleasure of meeting, and we're grateful our honeymoon led us to his shop. Thank you, Mark, for your hospitality, your kindness, and for making our trip just a little more special. We can't wait to come back the next time we're on Oʻahu
