On our way back home to Indiana our Alternator AND battery quit working. Mind you this is on a Friday at 4pm!! Luckily, we broke down at the Hideaway Bar and Grill in Bruce Fl instead of half a mile in either direction. The closest place for a repair was Wrench It Tire and Auto. I have AAA, but they would only tow to an approved dealer 35 miles away, and they were closed until Monday by the time our van would have made it there. I decided to call Wrench It Tire & Auto to let them know my situation. I talked to Heather (Josh's wife), who told me she would talk to her husband (Josh) to see if they could do anything for us. She said they would be willing to stay later that day to ensure we got back on the road that night! They appointed me as a fantastic tow driver(Larry) for a reasonable price. He had terrific hospitality! I knew we were in great hands when he told me about himself and the people who work at Wrench It. Josh confirmed it was the Alternator and battery. He said he could call his other tech to grab the part from a store that was 30 minutes away and start working on it. They worked on the van until it was past 10pm! They got her all fixed up and back up and running. They had so much patience because we didn't have nearly as much money for the parts and labor on one payment form, so they helped us use multiple different payment forms. I can't express how grateful our family is for this shop and the people who run it! If you're anywhere near Ponce De Leon, Florida area and want to make sure your vehicle is adequately taken care of by personable and caring people, then you NEED to come here! I wish they were in Indiana so I could go here whenever I need help with our vehicles! Again, thank you for all your hospitality and for ensuring my family made it home safely. Can't say enough how much these guys helped me out! I was travelling through the area on my way to…read moreBiloxi when I picked up a large screw in a tire. I had tried to plug the tire about ten miles down the road, but the only patch kit I was able to find was a dinky one that lasted all of that ten miles before blowing out and leaving me with a very flat tire. I pulled into the clinic and asked if there was any way that they could help out... unfortunately they could not officially help me due to insurance reasons (I was on a motorcycle, so this was totally expected). However, they did me a solid and handed me a truck gauge plug that I could attempt to fix the tire with myself... and that worked perfectly! They were able to inflate the tire (no insurance clashes there!) and I was on the road again. Again, all the work and risk was done by myself, but they really helped out with their knowledge! I was able to get to Biloxi, where I was able to find a dealer that could replace the tire (Just can't trust a plug completely... the whole way there I was constantly checking tire pressure, which is distracting!) the next day, and that is what I did. Again, my heartfelt gratitude to these guys for helping me out!

Now being a woman with two teen age girls, this man not only sent me somewhere to get my problem solved, he called them told them what I needed exactly, he helped me understand what would best serve my needs, and had the other place ready and waiting for us.
