Our three year old went in for his FIRST ever haircut, and this place butchered his hair. Bless the gal who tried, but my goodness you are in the wrong line of work. I would be shocked if she has actually been to school to cut hair. It is uneven, not layered, we asked for a Fauxhawk type haircut and this is what we got. What should have been a good experience two days before school starts has turned into a scream fest and a scramble to find someone to un-F his hair. My wife is mortified. Unbelievable. Never again. Don't go here. Run the other way. As fast as you can. Again, as we add context; The apprentice never told us she was an apprentice. You had two people intermittently working on his hair. She kept asking if we were happy with it so we were involved because she asked us to be. With regard to how she was spoken to: The older woman asked if we were happy, I said "Not particularly but it is what it is". I don't know how that is rude. I'm not going to lie to her. I walked to the counter to pay. She said there was no charge. I then again insisted to pay. It is most certainly not about the money. If you stand by this as a good haircut, I stand by my review. The receptionists are less professional. Rushed. No eye contact. There is no longer an offer of drinks of any kind while you wait. The music is no longer classic rock or even contemporary rock. It's mostly a combination of loud pop and hip hop. Since the clientele is noticeably 45+ or older this is not appealing. The quality of the stylists is also much reduced. I've tried several of them and the results vary widely. But none are as good as a few years ago. I used to see the owner in the shop, who served to be on top of things. No more. Maybe they've sold the business? The experience is not very good, overall, and definitely not worth the premium cost.

Had a great conversation with the barber there on men's style and fashion. In fact, all of the employees there were super friendly.
