The small shop is charmingly tucked away in a nondescript strip mall that doesn't do it justice. Once inside, the shop itself is clean, organized, and well maintained by an old gentleman who definitely knows his seafood. They sell live crawfish by the lb at the lowest price we have ever seen (sub $2/lb) and each one is amazingly huge. The kind gentleman help us load the sack into our cooler and covered the top with ice to help keep them alive. This is truly a top quality place at extremely reasonable prices, and I would definitely return when I pass by again.

I asked the man at the counter about the types of shrimp available and he was not very friendly. I asked about marinated crab claws, he'd never heard of them. There isn't any convenience paying at the pump when you have to go inside for a receipt. This isn't the first time, but definitely the last. Have tried other pumps a few times before that didn't print out a receipt. This time I'm guessing the owner was behind the counter and he didn't seem to give a shit. A few miles north or south on fm105 and I can get fuel and a receipt at the pump. Can't keep something as simple as paper in the printer make you wonder where else the corners are being cut. No problem keeping paper in the printers at the counter. Don't waste your time.

Literally the best boudain balls I've had in a while seasoned great and the texture was perfect! So good. I got the pork chop sandwich, classic fried pork chop that is seasoned well and not too salty. My husband got the fish basket and can we say perfect golden fish fried hard to perfection, we didn't even have to ask "can you fry it hard?" Lol All in all this was a great first time experience at Team Gilliam and we will def be back to try their other menu options! I especially want to come back on a Saturday for their boiled seafood platter.
