I went to Dr. Mailk (I didn't request him only to have my foot looked at) because I broke the shaft of my pinky toe. They took 2 xrays and he came in and told me to continue to wear the boot I already had and come back in 6 weeks. They charged $2872 and refuse to reduce the bill. He didn't touch me only talked for a couple minutes.

They had multiple contracts throughout the years with hospitals and clinics in the central Illinois area. Some of the hospitals they serviced were Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, Il, Paris Community Hospital in Paris, Il, Saint Anthony Hospital in Effingham, Il, Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, Il, Provena United Samaritans Health Center in Danvielle, Il, Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, Il, HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, Il and dozens of small clinics in the area. They provided their life saving services to millions of people since 1976. At the height of their empire they employed around 17 doctors and dozens of other staff for services such as billing. They were pulling in tens of millions and frequently donated back to the community. Some of their donations went to the local school systems as well as EIU and U of I. Unfortunately all good things come to an end. My father and his partners sold their equity in the company to Dr. Aldo Ruffolo (I have a separate review on him). Dr. Ruffolo tried to start a side venture of Cosmetic Vein Clinics and failed to maintain contracts with the hospitals for Lakeland Radiologist. To make matters worse Dr. Ruffolo declared bankruptcy, for his failed side venture, causing all the companies he owned to go under including Lakeland Radiologist.
