As I stated earlier, I wanted to use you. I called you a few times after the days that you came by. You agree that it was taking longer than expected but that it was because the Home and Garden Show exposure. You didn't call me, I call you. I called after your visit, but you didn't answer, so I left a vm and text. Later in April, I called you and you answered that time. I asked about the estimate. You said that Danae had gotten my online inquiry and that she'd get back with. I stated that I wasn't trying to rush you and was patient because I want you to do the work. I reminded you that you said, "2 to 3 days (April 14) but it wasn't until April 24 that I got a concrete answer that you will not be doing the job. My contention isn't that you can't do the job, but that I wasn't given the courtesy to tell me that you weren't interested in providing the estimate nor would be able to do the job. If I hadn't called or inquired, I would never have gotten an answer at all. How could I give you a higher rating? You only came to look at the project. I can't grade you on quality, service or promptness because I have no reference point to go by. My review isn't harsh but simply stated as it happened. Danae seems to be the person who makes the decisions on which jobs to take. Maybe a conversation she be had with her if you don't want more reviews like mine.

The results of this full renovation of a family property was not worth the "journey" that took place with O.C. over the course of 12+ months. My family's money, time, effort, possessions, etc, etc...were not valued professionally. The following is a list of some but not all that took place since February 2025... 1. Family tools on the property were used without permission 2. Old asbestos flooring not abated (handled) properly 3. Kitchen range hood installed incorrectly & had to be redone 4. Kitchen flooring installed poorly & had to be redone 5. Kitchen backsplash installed poorly & had to be redone 6. Dishwasher not completely installed & had to request it's completion 7. Several kitchen cabinet uppers damaged during installation & had to be repaired 8. Shower curbs were built incorrectly & had to be redone or the glass installer would not warranty the glass installation 9. Incorrect flooring installed in secondary bathroom & had to be redone 10. Air conditioner unit not installed completely & had to request it's completion 11. Washing machine/dryer unit plumbing installed backwards & had to be redone 12. New utility sink faucet "misplaced" & had to be replaced 13. Several new door frames installed out of alignment & had to be redone 14. Several new window screens torn during installation & had to be replaced 15. Crawl space ductwork crushed during renovations & had to be replaced 16. Thermostat installed incorrectly & had to be reinstalled 17. More currently, I learned that electrical power to some smaller buildings on the property was never restored after electrical work to the house was completed. However, this is not being rectified by O.C., since they stopped responding to my communication 3 wks ago. 18. Additionally, it is quite possible more slack O.C. work will be discovered in the future. In conclusion, I do not recommend utilizing this company.
