Usually, my hair is not cut short enough for my taste. Asking for a "high and tight" cut will typically get you a blank stare. I found Old School Barbershop on Yelp and immediately saved it to my favorites. I visited on Monday but the store was closed to my disappointment. The hours on the door are blank for Monday's so not sure if they are open or not but on the Monday I arrived they were closed. I returned on Wednesday and only had a short wait as the barber was finishing up his last customer. The gentleman who cut my hair is not a staff member but was filling in for the owner who was away for a family visit. He cut my hair exactly as I wanted and I walked out with the best haircut I have had in several years.

Salon 84 was recommended by others in our resort community close by, so I decided to give it a try. I'm happy to say that Salon 84 is just what I was hoping to find! The salon is so cute (located in the owner's grandmothers former home) and it is as cute and quaint as you can imagine. My stylist, Claire, was so warm and friendly, and a great stylist as well. I did root touch up, foils, and cut, and was delighted with the results. While I was more blonde than I usually am, the color was gorgeous! But the true teat for me was the cut, and it was great as well! Services are well-priced and you won't find a cuter salon anywhere! Do give them a try . . . You'll be delighted with the results!

It was bright, open & airy feeling everyone was very welcoming. The salon was previously a freestanding family home that has been converted. It has various rooms, washing station, stylist chairs and such. It has a wonderful feel, comfortable, homey with an added unique vibe, in my opinion My stylist was Tiffany S. She listened to my needs & was very attentive & detail oriented, which helped me to feel comfortable I left with a great short hair cut , and an overall good feeling. I will be returning.
