Summarize Unresolved Consumer Electrical Service Complaint Against Jeff Sauer, Jacob Lockhart, and the Affiliated Master Electricians with Mister Sparky Greater West Houston, Hempstead, TX
As a Veteran woman caring for an elderly, disabled family member, I refuse to be intimidated by this company or allow them to place my property and family at future risk. This company was quick to generate bills and responsive to provide proposed electrical services as long as I was paying. They were also quick to generate additional bills and attempted to shift blame onto me for their faulty installation. Their alleged warranty policy becomes a slippery slope when I request a full financial refund plus the current financial cost. Their response has been slow and evasive when confronted with their own faults.
They have demonstrated indifference and a lack of honest representation in performing the electrical services they claimed to have completed. Jeff Sauer and Jacob Lockhart continue to withhold full transparency despite my repeated requests for proof and documentation to resolve the unsafe and substandard electrical work at my property. They have failed to provide timely evidence of general liability insurance, errors and omissions insurance, and current business insurance; a copy of my electrical agreement; contact information for the Master Electrician; the business policy and procedures for electrical fire safety standards; staff training documentation for electric water heaters, septic system circuit breakers, and RV site outlet installations; documentation validating compliance with Colorado County underground cable installation requirements; training records for subpanel installation; and more.
Mr. Sauer and Jacob Lockhart resorted to evasive language and wordplay when asked for specific accountability and the root cause of the electrical problems. For example, Lockhart initially suggested, "file a claim under your insurance, tell them someone was digging on your property." Sauer claimed, "We are not responsible for the problem; our electrical installation was done correctly." Lockhart dismissed the issues as "rare phenomena." Sauer even contacted the County power company to assert that Mister Sparky's electrical installation met county requirements.
Their denial and misrepresentation persisted until I obtained videotaped evidence revealing that Jeff Sauer is not a master electrician nor a licensed electrician. Upon excavation of an area, it was confirmed that their electrical cable was not buried the required 24 inches underground. Jacob Lockhart, the journeyman, responded, "Wow, uh, I don't know how that happened." At this point, Jeff Sauer offered vague promises of limited correction for their faulty work and provided unclear responses when pressed for disclosure regarding business insurance. Thus far, the complaint has not been resolved. They have not honored their "U-win guarantee policy, 100% satisfaction" read more
