This is probably one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. We arrived early in morning and they…read morewere able to get us into our room within 20-30 minutes. SO NEEDED! The staff was friendly, accommodating, and really knew how to be hospitable. The room was fantastic! It had a full kitchen, washing machine, an actual king bed (rare in Europe), massive pillows, and everything you could need if you were traveling with a kid. The hotel restaurant is small, so you can have breakfast delivered to your room. You kind of need to go to breakfast your first morning to see what options to have and then you can order online for any future mornings. The croissants were always delivered warm and it a little pouch to keep them that way. They smelled heavenly. They also have some of the best pasteis de nata and in the early morning they're warm! The location was great! You did have to walk up a bit of a hill, but it's Lisbon. My only tip would be to stay at this hotel at the end of your trip or only stay here because they will spoil you.

In the lobby, there's also a Kids Club that offers daycare at all times of the day; the staff there were really good at making the kids comfortable. We were assigned room 002, which was the size of a small apartment, with a bedroom that had a king size bed and bunk beds situated in the family room. I know bunk beds can be nerve wracking with little kids, but the hotel had bumpers installed for safe sleeping. Location wise, you're in the heart of the city with lots of restaurants and shops within close walking distance. It'd be hard not to recommend this hotel, unless you are traveling with no kids or on a business trip.

Cute, clever, artistic and humorous designs, a touch of Portuguese without feeling touristy. Best of all they use quality material, so the t-shirts feel soft and will not shrink or go out of shape after a few washes. They also have a website with a few other designs that aren't in their store. They are always updating/changing designs to keep it fresh. The girls who work in the shop are very friendly and helpful if you have any questions. This is not a cheap souvenir t-shirt shop.. It's way better..more like a boutique t-shirt shop for discriminating people who want to stand out in a crowd. You won't be disappointed! Just discovered their shop in Lisbon with many of the same shirts as well as original ones with Barcelona on them - these t-shirts are definitely unique to this city and make a memorable gift for that special someone back home or just for yourself. They also have a store in Madrid.

Jamie W and I have been to the smaller Time Out Markets in NYC (Union Square and DUMBO), but we could never find our footing in these places. This one has the distinction of being the original Time Out Market, so it's had over a dozen years since its opening in 2014 to develop its cred with dilettante foodies and insufferable vloggers. At the same time, the rigid conformity of the food vendors to the Time Out brand makes this place feel far removed from the family-run businesses where you can get a more authentic ambiance and for the most part, cheaper prices. Paying the equivalent of $8 for an overdecorated donut may produce momentary Instagram gratification but little else (Photo 8). That's not to say the layout here isn't well organized, but basically you're relegated to long communal tables where your movements are restricted. Being elbows-to-elbow with famished, arm-waving tourists is not ideal. We were even here during off-peak hours, so I'm presuming it becomes more chaotic and cacophonous during lunch and dinner rushes, especially with the reverberations created from the high ceilings (Photo 9). With dozens upon dozens of food choices, this place is ideal for large groups who have no interest in exploring their own dining options, the ones who are perfectly satisfied with hanging out in food courts in shopping malls. I utilized my FNA award from my signup bonus I got with the Boundless card and made use of it on this trip, including this hotel. We trekked here directly from the airport via the Metro. Therefore, we got here much earlier than the check-in time (though not as much due to the EES nightmares). Therefore, we were able to freshen up a little bit and head out accordingly. The bathrooms near the lobby are quite clean and spacious so it's very easy to freshen up there. Due to some business conferences at the hotel - it was quite packed when we arrived on a Tuesday - there was no opportunity to upgrade, but that's okay. We also skipped the breakfast add-on as we were heading off on a train early in the AM. The room itself was quite nice and up to the standards of a Sheraton. We got some office building views from our room. The free water came handy too, but again we were here for only one night. The bathroom itself was clean and spacious enough. The shower/tub combo is something I don't always see (though I have in Europe) and the glass wall with the curtains certainly makes this more suitable for a couple than anyone beyond that, but it did the job. The hotel itself is in the business district and there isn't too much around unless you want to walk to Avenida which isn't too far away. If you want a business-friendly hotel with a guaranteed quality of sorts, you can't go wrong here.

All I needed was my iPhone to get on the bus and the Ubers came super quick not to mention it's extremely close to restaurants and shops as well as local sightseeing. We easily got to the airport, the aquarium, and to the zoo within 15 minutes of the hotel. The food is delicious. I highly recommend getting breakfast included because the buffet is well worth it. The service is top-tier and the pool is worth the day pass )granted the pool views aren't the best) still, the sun shines through and the temperature is right. Having the indoor spa right next to the pool was genius and I wish I utilized it more. The locker rooms are stunning. Overall I highly highly recommend you staying here. You won't be disappointed.
