This hole in the wall is so easy to miss, but while driving by it caught my eye and after squeezing in their one way SUPER small parking options we walked in. Price They are always running specials. We have been here 3x about a few weeks apart and each time there is a special of some sort. Styles and Choices - No rental selection My fiance is obviously wonderful and the ideal size because EVERYTHING looked great at him. It was fun trying on different looks. We were hoping to rent but found it very limiting as far as choices go. This store rents tux only. They do also offer shoes. We decided to buy because of the deal they were running at the time. Inside there are a few different styles and SO MANY COLORS. We had a harder time selecting a color because there are so many to chose from. You can order as well if they do not have your size in store. Quality They sell name brand items and no name brand. For the price and quality of the materials I was shocked. You could go to your commercial store or pay for a custom suit or you could check out this store. The people/staff are very friendly and chilled. Staff There were only two working at the time and they have a sign for help. So patience is a must. They give you all their attention, so don't expect to be greeted once inside. Feel free to walk in, take a look around, and shortly they will be with you. Once they finished with their current client, they asked how they could help. We tried on a ton of options and made an order. Hemming - so much is INCLUDED Is included in the price along with shirts, tie or bow tie, pocket stuffer, and socks. Buyer beware!!! I was not told of extra charges for hemming sleaves on a Tux jacket until after the pants where hemmed and my credit card charged. They do not hem sleeves and referred me elsewhere. I was unable to contact the referral. It cost me $45 to have the sleeves hemmed and $8.50 for pressing the wrinkled suit. The sales person was not forthcoming till I was walking out the door. "Oh, by the way we don't forget to have the sleeves hemmed.." I called and asked if any credit or refund would be considered and they said No! DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! read more

I'll stay away from this place customer service is trash. I remember I was apart of a wedding group and they messed up my jacket and the guy had the nerve to not acknowledge it when I picked it up. Fast forward couple months later go for just measurements takes 40sec and this Spanish dude talking. About $15 dollars to do it, I say why? I never got charged before and he proceeds to go sit down and tell me to ask the guy in the back for help instead. Ama be honest I was skeptical at first entering this place as this place doesn't look the very best. BUT let me triple reassure you that this place has one of the best people serving you. One of the people attending me was Kevin. Kevin and his coworkers all had this great vibe about just working there it was really a great feeling even when I was looking for a suit he was really helpful in my decisions so let me reassure again that this place is to be looking for suits, and they do thing rather fast, it may seem slow but there busy with other customers. They either didn't hem my tux at all which I think is highly likely or they took the wrong measurements, full 3-5 inches too long in sleeves and pants. Only tips of my fingers showed in my sleeves. Pants bunched like crazy, I actually folded my pants over at the top because it was so bad and it was still way too long. They measure you very hastily in two seconds, not by how much they should take in like I've seen at every other tailor but by how long it should be. Gave me different shoes from ones I had chosen. WORST COMPANY, I have ever dealt with. Does not even deserve a rating of 1. Rented a tux, had a hole in the crotch area which got much bigger throughout the night. Contacted the owner, George, who tried to say that my son must have put the hole in the pants while putting them on. He continued to explain how the place he rents from checks everything, however, no where in the conversation did he apologize or offer anything to rectify the situation. When we asked for a refund, he hung up on us. We called back several times and he didn't answer the phone. After returning the tux the next day (Sunday) I was told I was, "All set." I received a call on the following Wednesday from an angry manager wanting to know where the tux was and why I hadn't returned it. When I explained that I had returned it the following day he said he would look into it. No return phone call or apology for his over reaction. I needed to rent a basic tuxedo for a wedding a week away. After having a horrible experience with Men's Wearhouse I was more than pleasantly surprised with Mister Formal. I was waited on immediately with courteous, efficient, and cheerful service. The cost was entirely reasonable. The tuxedo and its accoutrements were perfect. Unprofessional, unnecessary stress. We had used Mr. Formal before a few years back for a Tux when my sister got married. Everything went so smooth that when I needed a suit for my father's funeral on short notice, I called and was told they could handle my size and have the alterations done for the day before the funeral. We were told by Kevin to come back after 1630 the next day and the suit would be ready. He took my payment and my phone number and gave us a copy of the receipt with my phone number printed on top. We were running around getting things ready and at 1530 decided to stop by and see if perhaps they were already done. An associate of Kevin's asked my name and his face fell when I gave it. He informed me their tailor had called in sick that day and they wouldn't be able to do the alterations. We exploded . Why hadn't they called us this morning? They had no good excuse and started frantically making phone calls. So did I and I found a nearby tailor willing to do the alterations but wanted double (80$) what Mr. Formal had charged us (40$) We demanded Mr. Formal pay us the additional 40$ to go have the alterations done. They refused and said they'd give me 50$ toward alterations or refund everything. It was now 1630 and the funeral was at 1100. At one point they said it wasn't a big deal. That the funeral wasn't until the next day. I had to remind him that I didn't care about his problems and that I was pissed that they made their problem my problem. Finally the Mr. Formal tailor agreed to come in and do my suit. Which we were informed would cost Mr. Formal double. We replied that if he had called me first thing in the morning, all of this could have been avoided. at about 1800 we left with the suit in hand and the stress to match. Just what we needed. Kevin was hiding in the back btw. We did speak to him and I told him how pissed were and how unprofessional this whole situation was. They didn't even offer to compensate us for the wasted time or the stress. The suit was nice but I would NEVER go back here for anything. read more

Never seen a groom catch so much anger from his groomsmen. Dirty dress shirts, wrong sizes, horrid customer service, they don't even have mirrors in the dressing rooms. I was told off by the boss there (dressed like he owned the place) because tux wasn't ready 2 days prior to the wedding. He kept yelling at me, look at the receipt, come back tomorrow. This place won't lose any business because many people can't afford better. They won't make you look good and they damn sure don't care. Couldn't even get them to take time with me once I had the suit on. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Also, tried to drop off the tux when they opened, not a chance. Horrible service ever!!! They almost ruined my wedding day!!! The tuxedos were dirty and they had been dry cleaned so much the color wasn't the color shown in their color scheme book!! Shoes were horrible not the ones we originally picked we were told those were discontinued the day we picked them up.. they never compensated use for none of they're mishaps they wouldn't let us speak to management we was told that he would tell us the same thing that there's nothing he could do!!! I rented a tux for my daughter's wedding at this place. It resulted in the most embarrassing evening of my life! The man who measured me when I ordered the tux seemed to know what he was doing. I made a very bad assumption that it would fit. Because the wedding was out of town, I was in a rush and did not try on the tux before I left. When I tried it on just before the wedding, i began to panic. The shirt was many sizes too small., Could not button the collar because it was at least 1-/12 inches too0 small. The sleeves were about four inches above my wrists and I had to stretch the front to button the shirt in the front. And, it's the first time I ever rented a tux without a starched shirt. It felt like an old dish towel that had been laundered hundreds of times. The slacks were even worse. They were at least four inches too small around the waste. And, this place didn't include suspenders like all the other stores I have used in the past. I had to walk my daughter down the aisle with an open collar help partially closed by the tie. The flaps of the collar kept moving over the tie. The shirt kept opening in the front, exposing my stomach. And, through it all, I was so uncomfortable. The guests kept telling me my shirt was unbuttoned, the move the cumberbun to cover it. Others kept trying to fix my collar. Needless to say, this was so embarrassing at such an important life event. I would have been better off to buy an inexpensive tux at JC Penney or Burlington Coat Factory or using an old one I had in my closet. I didn't go to this place to save money. A sign in the window says tuxes are rented for as little as $49. I paid $99, less than the big chain stores. But, if I had known, I would have spent a few dollars more elsewhere. After buying almost all of my suits from this store for years, I chose to have all the suits for my wedding come from this store. The suits did not arrive until over a month after they were promised. When they arrived, not all pieces were present. As I live 3 hours away, this is completely unacceptable. I have had to take off work and make multiple trips down there just to try to get them to honor their word. My wedding is less than a month away and I still don't have over half of my outfit that I ordered from them. This will be the last order I make from this store. read more
