They signed me up for a car wash membership without my authorization. I found the monthly charges for TWO YEARS yesterday and called them for a refund. They said they would give me an extra year on my non-existent, unauthorized membership. I'm not even an Arizona resident so what good would that be!!! I said no, refund only. I got my car washed today and was pleasantly surprised at how much care and effort was put into the cleaning inside my car. Had my car washed today. Very helpful young lady at the front suggested wash plus interior cleaning. The package was a little expensive. The drive through wash was fine with pre bug wash. They hand dried the outside of my vehicle, shined the tires, cleaned the rims, vacuumed, and did an excellent job of cleaning the interior. I wouldn't pay this every time, but it gives me a good baseline. read more

If I could give -10 start I would. After waiting in line it get my sub washed it was still very dirty after the wash. Went back trough it again and still a sub par cleaning. I took my car in this last Tuesday and decided to pay extra for an interior clean and the staff wiping the cars scratched my windows with a dirty cloth and put fine scratches on the film as well as I large scratch on the passenger side. They also did not vacuum my back seats. I filed an incident report and the GM contacted me today - didn't leave a message- I called back as I saw I missed a call and he said they investigated and no one was wearing rings. The damage was NOT there before and o said it looked like someone used a dirty rag they dropped that would have sand from the black top in the parking lot. I stayed I just had someone in my car before I washed it and they could testify the film was perfect and he didn't care and even offered to cancel my membership for me: Rude, unprofessional, cowardly and not ethical. Here's the deets: *5-stars for: A) the subscription business model making it super convenient to drive through however many times you want per month, B) if you have the unlimited exterior subscription, it's only $8 extra to do the interior, and C) accommodations making it comfortable while you wait for your car to be done if you're getting the interior detail, such as: WiFi, popcorn, coffee, outlets, comfortable seating, restrooms, a little store *1-star for: the interior detailing service I've received each time. I will say that I pointed out the fact that they missed a *lot* (they even wiped leather protectant on top of smudges and dirt without cleaning the dirt first lol), and in return they cleaned it up and gave me a free car wash card. (And Sunday's they always seem to be understaffed aka slower service) They are really friendly and for the most part they do a good job. read more

I took my handicap van for a wash. I asked to stay in the car because I am wheelchair bound. The "Boss" said I could not ride through the wash because of the harsh chemicals. I advise anyone considering this car wash to think about these harsh chemicals and just stay away. There are friendlier car washes in Tucson. read more

I used to go to this Mister regularly and even used to have the monthly pass. Today I went for the basic in and out cleaning and was ALARMED that the cost is now $21.00!! That is the basic, cheapest cleaning they offer. I'm addition to the $5.00 tip I left, that is $26.00 to run my car through a machine. The outside looks nice but the inside - I am not impressed. I will not be back. When I asked how they are justifying the price increase, the attendant said it is because of all the new safety procedures they have. I'm not sure how this will turn out for the company, I'm assuming this will reflect in the tips people will not be leaving. Update - Octopus on Thorneydale does the basic wash inside and out for $12.99 just FYI. I am hoping someone at Mister will read this review and reconsider their price increase. read more

I went to Mister Carwash and was greeted by an attendant who helped me with the machine. She waved me through and I entered the wash. I heard some ruckus in the car wash and when I got out i looked at my car and saw that my roof rack was missing. Then I told the attendant and he ran and got the rack. It was completely destroyed in addition to a bike rack attachment on it. They said they would file a claim and let me know 3-5 days later if it was approved. They denied the claim saying my rack was on "crooked". Yeah right. My car was scratched and $400 worth of equipment destroyed. The interior gets a quick run through with the vacuum and there was a ton of dirt left when they were done, especially under the middle row captain seats. The girl said they were too heavy to fold forward so they didn't vacuum underneath. Side note: it is a Yukon Denali. It folds with a button, or you lift a lever and it is spring loaded. They drove it back and vacuumed it again and it's still dirty. Helpful tip: it doesn't matter which of the packages you buy, they all get the same exact service done. I had higher hopes. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE !!!!! Well today I wanted to get my car detailed so I went by Mister car wash on Oracle and Magee area. I left my car for three hours and it looked great until I saw the passenger side with a scratch that runs the length of the car. The manager Dom and I watch tapes in an office for 30 minutes or so and guess what ? The scratches weren't there when I dropped off my car I took pictures of their video showing when I left my car it had no scratches. No refund nothing but " well now I have to watch hours of tape and get other managers involved and it can take 5 business day until you get our decision." Decision !!!!! Really my car was perfect and now I have to wait! I will update this as soon as I hear from them. But do not go there!!!!! read more

Has this place changed, or what? I remember coming here with my parents as a kid before road trips; this was when it was the Capin Car Wash. Back then, there was a full-on convenience store with various car apparatuses and junk food galore. There was also a waiting area with pleather massage chairs--like the ones at the mall that take coins, and a TV that aired nothing but Hanna-Barbera cartoons. Almost all of that is gone now, but you can take your car into the wash tunnel, so that's pretty rad. What I like about this location in particular, is that they are the only place that can get the bugs off the front of my car. The Mister further down Oracle, and the Circle K self-serve can almost never get the bugs off. In their defense, though, it is a black car, which are notoriously difficult to keep clean for any length of time. The only issues I saw was that the toilet in the men's room did not flush; by not flush, I mean not a drop of water flowed into the bowl from the tank--it was bone dry. You know what wasn't bone dry? The inside of the bowl, which was pretty nasty. Once they fix that blip with their facilities, it'll be golden. read more

My car is usually clean. I paid $28 to get it inside and outside a little bit cleaner. I drove it through the car wash and they vacuumed it that was it. It was crazy for $28. The folks who work here always are pleasant & try to be helpful, so I like to give large tips (like 60% or better). That means I'm paying better than $65 for a wash that I have to do over when I get home. Dirt smudges on the hood; soap & water film across the windows; dust & mud on the floors & upholstery. Mister's got this policy to allow a 2nd run through the machine, but I tried that once, and nothing's changed. I still have the same dirty exterior, and I still need to vacuum & wipe down the interior myself. Just not worth it. I'm not looking for a detailing shop that can do a good job on my whole car. Meanwhile, I'll drop $10 in quarters and do it myself at the nearest spray-&-go. read more

I was a long time customer. I came in after having to have my computer replaced on my Cadillac from chemicals had damaged my car. My next visit I told them not to touch my display cream. They wrote it in the receipt as well as I told each individual along the way. It even said on my windshield. They did put chemicals again in my display. I immediately went into the manager who was present that day. We supposedly cancelled my membership she removed the sticker. Here I am 6 months later still being charged. I have left messages in several occasions. No one has ever called back or answered any phone from this business. I moved out of Tucson six months ago and have been charged every month since. What sets Mister Car Wash apart from others is how they make it right. I had a had wax added to my son's car wash and was surprised when the car was ready, without entering the shaded bay. It was busy, I get it, but the wax baked onto the finish before it could be massaged in. I brought this to the attention of General Manager Chris Mounce. He took a look at it and immediately decided to 'make it right'. In no time was the car inside and the job done over in the shade. 'Von', was excellent in waxing the car and then going above and beyond in carefully inspecting his finished product. He treated it as if it was his own. The result was a perfect shine, almost new. Covid killed off the free popcorn but they still have gas. Not the cheapest in town, but the closest to my home.

This location, as well as most of the other locations are super unreliable as far as what you're going to get from them. I like this location the best out of all of them I've been to, but now the chamois rollers they had at the end of the wash don't have the upper one, and the others are spotty as to whether they work. I don't pay the outrageous full service monthly fee to have it detailed. I'd prefer to do the inside myself (since the few times I've had them do it, it was a horrible job), and be able to drive away with a dry vehicle. Now I have to get out in the parking lot and dry it myself. You never know what you're going to get at Mister, and frankly I am really questioning the value. Can't wait to see what the new place at Oracle and Orange Grove brings to the area when it opens. read more
