Well-lit in a quiet neighborhood, away from the main road! I bring my own chemicals and cleaning tools so I'm unable to provide a review on what the facility uses. I just come for the clean, spacious, well-lit car wash bays equipped with pressure washers. I suggest using a credit card to pay with because if you use coins, you cannot pause the wash and may end up wasting water/product. I usually stay within budget of $40/below and can comfortably wash my vehicle twice a month. I'm a newb and take 2-3 hours a wash. Seasoned self-washers can probably do it each week given the same amount of money in less time. Four manual car wash bays, one automatic with brushes. I'll add some photos later. read more

I've been here a couple times it's good for what you're paying for. I usually use it after i've been traveling And want to clean everything out. Both times have been.There's been staff around to help you if you really needed something. I think it's good value for your money You do have to Wipe the car down to get it to dry. I would make sure I had a roll of paper towels or some dry rags to take with you. read more

The wash was ok, but the brushes almost ripped off my license plate. Now it's bent and I will have to try to straighten it out. Then l bought a towel which was nice to have available though they're a bit pricey. While drying off, you get overspray from the manual bays. The vacuum bays are tight too. Final recommendation, use the manual bays, bring your own drying towels and go when it's not busy. The picture is after I tried to bend my plate back. read more

This is the best and cleanest DYI car wash in ORO Valley and north Tucson. The other best thing is the very attentive owner who is actually onsite most of the daylight hours. I use this place exclusively when I'm in town and only regret there is not one as good in my home town!!! A hidden gem! I like this car wash compared to near-by competitors because it's a great value. They have DIY stations along with an automatic car wash. It can be unstaffed at times but there is a Dropbox where you can leave comments! I've been taking my brand-new Jetta to this self-service car wash for a nice bath, twice since I drove it off the showroom floor in Phoenix two months ago. It's very well-maintained. Because this is a self service car wash, obviously, you have to do all work yourself. But don't let that intimidate you; the equipment is very easy to use. There's pictures on the dial so you know what to expect. They also offer machines that help you keep the interior of your car looking its best. Both times I've brought my car here, it looks just like it did in the dealer parking lot; absolutely amazing! I've never used the interior cleaning machines. My complaint is simple. The payment system is not user friendly. I was trying to spend $3 .00 but got charged for $5.00 because the payment using a credit card was unclear. Great place to clean your vehicles. I can't find a number to contact the owner to let him know he is losing money with probably most credit card transactions. I have washed three vehicles over the last two weeks with two different credit cards and in two different bays. All three times the card reader said I was charged between $6 and $7 dollars. When I just reviewed my monthly statements, I was only billed $3.00 all three times. I don't know how many cars use the self service bays per day, but losing $4 + on each car adds up to slot of lost revenue for the owner. read more

Cool Drive Car Wash on Oracle is now under new ownership. We were disappointed by the changes. The soap brush is now smaller and with fewer suds making it difficult to clean the car. The anti-spotting rinse was "broken" in all the bays. The machines now cut off the wash when $10 is reached so that we had to restart mid-wash. Under the previous ownership, the final charge on our credit card would be $9.00, under the new management it was $20.00. read more

Beware of the drive thru car wash!! Says $8, but it will show $10 taken out of your account. BUT it will just show $10 as pending and only $8 will actually be taken out. The owner informed me of this after I left a comment card. He was pretty cool though. He contacted me that day and explained it to me, I checked my bank account later that day and the pending $10 was gone and only the $8 was taken out just as promised. I really appreciated him calling to explain that. Overall I like this place. It's my go to car wash, and it's rarely too busy. read more

I love coming to this little car wash near my house. Has everything you could imagine whether you want to hand wash your car or use the automatic was that starts at just $4! (Prices are $4, $5, $6 and $8 for the auto-wash.) I once used the vending machine and item got stuck. Went and told the guy who owns it and he gave me $5 after I told him what had happened. This review is for the manual stalls, as I never use automatic bays. A basic, functional car wash, and if you are on this end of town, you don't have too many options. Decent price and time. But what separates a great car-wash from an OK one is the pre-soak and spot-free rinse. The pre-soak should be very concentrated, and come out at a rate fast enough so that you gotta keep moving while applying it(as you're on the clock). Then you can go straight to the high speed rinse, as high-speed soap is kind of pointless then(and in general, unless your car is extremely filthy). But this car wash had a very diluted pre-soak, and it came out at a very slow rate. Fortunately, the brushes were quite clean, so I made up time by brushing the weak pre-soak a bit. The spot-free rinse was similarly very slow. I'll probably go back until I've used up my tokens, but I will definitely look for a better one on my route to work later on. read more

The drive through car wash ripped a piece of plastic molding from my 2017 Toyota Sienna. The molding was located on the back hatch above the license plate. The spinning brushes pulled and broke the molding in half. The other half is still on the vehicle. It cost me $300 to get the molding painted and replaced. I was a little confused about what to do when I arrived, so I ended up driving a circle around the place first. It wasn't clear which line offered which services for what price. Once I got into a line, the workers were very helpful in directing me, smiling, and making me feel overall very welcome. Even the cheapest service had two workers hand drying the windshield, and I was satisfied with the resulting cleanliness of my car. Purchased car wash tokens great value unexpected I think $12 worth of coins for $10. When I go to use shampoo machine not working correctly, try to vacuum out car also not working. Wasted $3 just to have wet carpet and dirty carpet in car. Comment/refund box was ripped apart with nothing to fill out for refunding information.
