    Oily grit spatter from Mr. car wash

    Really disappointed in MR. Carwash in Sandy. We pay for a monthly pass for two cars. On average, 1 out of 3 times I go, the blowers spurt out this black oily grit onto my white car. Sometimes it's on the windshield and then the dryer brush rubs it all over the place. This time, it happened on the back of my car. I have called about the issue, no one called me back. And, I have had to go through the car wash multiple times to get rid of it. It's obviously an ongoing issue and the need to fix it.

    I have been a "paying customer" for over a year now with the Unlimited car wash membership. Today, was the last straw. I pulled into the covered vacuum area due to each outdoor vacuum parking bay, being full. I looked for some signage saying that this area was for employees only. Nope. Nothing. On top of that, it was empty. I pulled up and started vacuuming. A young lady appeared out of nowhere and started yelling, "WE CANNOT HAVE YOU USING OUR VACUUMS. THIS IS FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS ONLY." Um, excuse me, am I not a "paying customer?" Regardless, that may not have been what she meant to say, her verbiage and tone was totally uncalled for. I informed her that each bay was full and this area was empty without any employees around or signage saying this was an employee only area. Her response was, "Not my problem." Ok, then. I pulled out and parked myself right in front of their tip jar. My previous issues were physical damage to my '17 Ford Explorer, such as: rear wiper blade coming off and scratching my window glass. My recent favorite was the passenger side mirror cover coming off. I noticed within *I think* three days and went back immediately. The employee said, "We don't have it anymore. You should have come back right away." Thanks, Mom. Had I noticed sooner, I would have come back. This relationship is done and I will be sure to discourage anyone from using this business.

But best of all my vehicle with dog hair and dirt was immaculate. My total was $105 and they shampooed my carpets, basic detail, treated the leather, wheels and it felt like a new car when I was done and I did not have to lift a finger and was done in 30 minutes. On arrival at 12:45PM, there was no visual menu, but the girl at the booth told me the pricing and a REALLY rough overview of what was available. I have been traveling quite a bit, and had some pet hair in the cargo area, so I chose the Best Interior and Touchless for $45 plus $15 for all of my mats for a full cleaning. I also asked how long it would take to clean, and was told by the girl 20-25 minutes. I went through the drive through portion, (which was not touchless despite requesting the option) and was hand towel dried on the opposite side. I was then motioned to drive to the bay for vacuuming and wasn't met by anyone. I climbed out and asked someone at another vehicle if I needed to park or what the process was, and was told to just leave the key in it and then I can go wait inside. Once inside, I found a table to wait at. At 1:40PM, it didn't even look like my car had been started yet. Finally after 2:00 someone came and told me my car was ready. She walked me out to my vehicle and told me I was good to go and left. I climbed in my car and drove to the gas pumps to use the 20 cent discount for fuel. When I went to check the backseat, I noticed there was still dog hair in the headliner and all over the cargo area; it did not look as if it had even been vacuumed. I unfortunately had to leave for work and was unable to come back same day to talk to someone about the areas they missed. I called a few hours later to speak to someone about my dilemma and they said it was fine, to come back the next day when the manager was there and they would assist. When I came back the next day, I spoke with someone at the cash register inside the gas station and they called someone named Cami? to come talk to me. It was the same person who had told me my vehicle was ready the day before. When I showed her my receipt and expressed that I think my trunk wasn't vacuumed, she stated she wanted to look at it, and that she remembered me from the day prior. We went out to my vehicle and opened the trunk in which she said it was pet hair and would need pet hair removal, and that it was unlikely to come out, but stated she would try to get some of it out. I thanked her many times, and felt I was very nice about it. She then told me to just pull my vehicle into the self service vacuum and she would vacuum it herself. I pulled my vehicle over to the stall and she started vacuuming while I was still sitting in the car, and stated the self serve vacuums were stronger than the ones they use, and it's hard to get pet hair out, in which I told her I understood, and that that was why I came and paid for the most expensive wash option because I didn't have the equipment to do this at home. After maybe 3-5 minutes, she said she was done and did as much as she could do. I saw some hair was removed but not all of it. She also stated she would let the other staff know to pay extra attention to that area the next time I came in. I thanked her for that and she left. After all of this, I wasn't really satisfied with the way my concern was handled. I didn't appreciate being questioned on what the issue was, and wished she had just taken the keys and completed the process from start to finish again or something. Having me show it to her made me feel like she doubted my concerns and honesty. I also would have appreciated the girl at the booth showing me a menu or something so I could see what was really included in the full wash and what my money was going to. Overall, the people were generally nice, and I received an adequate job on the wash and on the interior, but after the cost and the way my concerns were handled, I probably won't be back. I can do this quality myself for a much lower cost, and without being questioned on the concerns I had. I really wanted to love this place, but just wish my experience and concern had been handled differently, and wish my car was fully clean. See attached photos of before and after as well.

When I got there he was waiting because k stated I was on my way. After the wash he personally came over along his employee to help dry my truck and was very generous with his products to help me get my truck sparkling clean. I finally asked if he was the owner because a lot of times in business the owner isn't hands on if even present on the job. He was great at suggesting local places to grab a bite when I asked. Seriously one of the kindest humans I have ever met! I highly suggest getting your vehicle washed here! Customer service was above and beyond and it's clear he very much values customer care and offering a great service! 5 stars all the way!! Next time I am up this way I will be returning. Most important for me is that I can fit my full size Ram truck that has a 2 inch leveling kit. It's a tight fit, but it fits. There are not many touch free car washes that can accommodate a 7 foot clear height. For a while I had a Quick Quack membership but the brushes leave small scratches and swilrs in the paint. Occasionally these guys have my preferred bay closed off but when I am able to go thru there is always copius amounts of suds and bubbles.

    "Denied Service Over Email Address - Seriously?"…read more I went to Quick Quack Car Wash at noon with the simple intention of getting a basic car wash. There was no one in line, so I expected a quick, straightforward visit. Instead, I was met with a frustrating and unnecessarily complicated experience. The attendant, Mike, approached my car and immediately commented on my out-of-state plates. From there, he proceeded to push the most expensive car wash option--likely assuming that because I drive a luxury vehicle, I must want the top-tier package. That wasn't the case. I just wanted something simple. Mike attempted to input my information on his tablet, which he claimed wasn't working due to a battery issue. He retrieved a second tablet, which also didn't work. Trying to be helpful, I offered to pay in cash. Instead of accepting it, he insisted on collecting my email address. I declined, as I don't want to receive marketing emails, and quite frankly, I found the request inappropriate for a basic, one-time car wash. To my disbelief, Mike refused to give me a car wash unless I provided my email. That didn't sit right with me at all. Whether or not that's legal, it certainly doesn't feel ethical. When I asked to leave, Mike couldn't even open the gate--again blaming the tablet. It took a younger employee to show him how to manually open it. A few takeaways, Mike: 1. I was driving a luxury vehicle because I'm purchasing a luxury home in the area--not because I want to be upsold. 2. I remained patient throughout your multiple tech issues and offered a solution (cash). 3. Forcing personal data collection just to get a car wash is unacceptable. Due to the unprofessional handling of this situation and the refusal to provide service without surrendering my email, I won't be returning. You've earned this one star. No one else is to blame.

My partner and I took our three dogs to a nearby park and when they were done playing, they were STANKY! Lucky for us, this washing station wasn't far and it was just what we needed. You pay via credit card for a certain amount of minutes-then you can use whatever tool you want for that time. A hose with water, soap, dryer, etc. We were able to get all three of our dogs washed in about 20 minutes. We skipped the dryer since it was a nice day out and they would prefer to air dry than the loud dryer anyway. The only real challenge is that it gets pretty hot in there and when the sliding door is open for ventilation, the tiny dog can get through the slats and escape-which she did. If you're not outnumbered by dogs, you'll likely manage that just fine.

I went to redeem a voucher today, and was told (by female employee) that they are no longer honoring the Car Wash voucher, effective as of June 2024. I explained that there is no expiration date on the voucher and part of my decision to purchase from them was because the car wash was included with the price I paid. I said that I won't be coming back if they don't honor their prior commitments (voucher). She said that is fine and that they expected to lose business due the policy change. I said that I was planning to bring another car in next week for an emission test, but will now go elsewhere. She said that she didn't care and wasn't go to lose her job by honoring a car wash voucher! Her unsympathetic attitude and lack of understanding reflected poorly on this business. I find it extremely odd and disappointing that a company would choose not to honor their prior commitment, especially from a loyal customer who has patronized them for the past 16-years with multiple vehicles per year. Integrity is the backbone of a successful business. Needless to say, I will do my business elsewhere.

I have come out and say it: Supersonic is truly the worst automatic car wash I think I have ever been to. This visit was my first and will be my last. It's ridiculously expensive for a scratch-o-matic drive-thru car wash, and the equipment is in really bad condition. The brushes inside the wash are wearing out, and some appear to be rotten or missing large chunks. They just beat and scrape your car while spraying it with water and soap. I was cringing the entire time as I rode through the wash. If you have a really nice or a new car, or even if you drive a beat-up tin can on wheels, I would not recommend this place. I wouldn't even want my worst enemy to run their car through here (well, okay, maybe that ONE girl....) My car didn't even get clean! It had a really gross soapy residue on the left side, and spots everywhere. One star just because of the friendly employee who helped me buy my wash at the machine. Otherwise, avoid.

We decided to buy a monthly go as often as you want package from them. We have washed it twice in three days and each time it restores the car to its looking brand new beauty. They give you an RFID card for your windshield so you can pass the line up. Vacuums are free and powerful. For being new members they gave us car scent trees and microfiber cloths. So far I'm impressed so I would recommend them highly if you're fussy about your car like I am
