Truman Elementary School - Park is one of the places that doesn't make me feel bad about paying taxes! This park includes a playground, multiple soccer fields and a paved 5-mile trail. This school is less than a mile away from my sister's house which makes it extremely convenient for my nephews who attend Truman Elementary. The looping trail is 5 miles and completely paved. It is perfect for running, walking or biking. Since a large portion of the trail is thru heavily wooded terrain, I don't know that I would feel comfortable going all the way to Stoneridge by myself. However, there are a lot of folks who utilize the trail during all hours of the day and night. This is a beautiful park that just about anyone would enjoy.

She has been well prepared for school and finds she previously studied many of the topics in pre-K in a creative and fun mannor that helped her remember the information. My daughter started attending DCS last year in middle school. She had a hard time in public school…read moredue to all the negativity and such (cussing, fighting, etc). She has grown in many ways -- especially in her reading level as she has some issues with reading and has an IEP. Her teachers work with her and allow her to learn however best she learns -- which usually means turning tests into verbal tests.
