How close we are

Funny 1 review says good for big rigs. We're only 40 feet and our slides are almost hitting our neighbors. Our truck won't fit with our fifth wheel so it's on a vacant lot Old trashy trailers. We back up to a semi storage lot and I 10. Dusty & noisy

Easy to get to off the freeway. It's great for one night passing thru town. The sites aren't wide. But they are long, so our 40ft 5th wheel and truck could stay connected for the night. The front desk is also very friendly.

Staying at Mission RV Park for 13 weeks- 3 more to go then going home. Super friendly and capable staff, security and maintenance. Lovely laundry room and indoor swimming pool & jauczzi. 5 star RV Park in 3 star town-El Paso

Playground for kids.

Mission RV Park was a life saver for me. I drove from Phoenix after not sleeping at all the previous day and was so tired I had to find a place to rest. I only needed a few hours to sleep. I went there just hoping for a safe place to park and sleep in my van for a bit, but what I found was Awesome!! The manager welcomed me with a warm smile and checked me in. They had very clean bathrooms, showers, a pool, playground for kids, amongst other things. They even have a laundry room if you need it. The grounds were clean and beautiful with trees and flowering bushes. I was able to sleep, shower and return to my long drive refreshed and happy with a smile on my face.

The RV's are pretty close together but rates are fair. The Wi-Fi is terrible. Power and water pressure is good.

But they either never come up or they quit in the middle of what u r trying to ! If we were just staying a day or so BUT a week of this is just crazy ! It's just so convenient to stay here , close to las Cruces and El Paso , there is too much traffic on the east side and this part of town has the really great outlets and a Rudys BBQ just down the street . They r building a wonderful shopping place across from rudys with Walmart , t j maxx Ross and lots of other things. Yes I travel to shop ! So that's very important to me ! We lived here in the late 70's so it's fun catching up . But I regress , we don't mind the landscape , it's very quiet, the view of the Franklin mountains is great ! Soooo ya just fix the darn internet !!! See just tried to post this and I can't !ill have to get off internet to do it !

There are a couple of things you will want to know if you find this the same way I did. First, note that the map/directions that this yelp site gives you will NOT take you to the campground (it takes you to what must be a BLM office in Las Cruces). UPDATE: I submitted the correct address (Aguirre Springs Road) to Yelp. If that is the address that shows up, it is correct. The Marquess Street address is the incorrect one. These are the directions copied and pasted from the Aguirre Spring website: Location / Access The Aguirre Spring Campground is located on the east side of Organ Mountains, east of Las Cruces in Dona Ana County. Take U.S. 70 for 14 miles east of the I-25/U.S. 70 interchange in Las Cruces, then turn south on the Aguirre Spring Road (1.1 miles after San Augustine Pass) for six miles. At mile 4 the road becomes a one-way loop and climbs steeply. Next thing to note is that the only facilities are toilets. They were clean and well kept. These restrooms do not have sinks or mirrors. There are no showers and there is no water at the campsites. You can fill up your water containers at the campground host's site which is right on Aguirre Spring Road as you start driving in. The sites have picnic tables and grills and some have fire pits. There is a loop of campsites that are off to the right of the camping pay station. Those sites are pretty close together, and there were several families camped up there, but they are right at the base of those gorgeous rock mountains. I bypassed this loop and drove down the road a little further and camped in a spot on the left a little ways passed the hiking trail (which is on the right). I loved my spot. I pitched the tent under shady tree. A restroom was close-by. I went for a trail run/hike the following morning. A very well spent $3!

I can see no reason to charge me $25 if I want to have a second terrier sized pup. It causes NO interference or issues for the park, such a small dog in a fenced area is NO danger to anyone. Like someone else, I see it as simply stealing people's money. Otherwise, the park is nice, well-kept and quiet. Also, the rent is going up by $35/mo starting in February of this year. Given 190 or so spaces with around 95% occupancy, that amounts to a $6900 raise for the owner. per month, $82,000 for the year. Meanwhile that large an increase totally wipes out MY increase of $43 for the year. OK, so I got an $8 raise thanks to the park owner. Yes, I understand that taxes go up. But we pay our own utilities, So I don't see any need for $82,000/year. I doubt very seriously that this parks tax bill has gone up by $82,000/year.

I have encountered great professionalism on behalf of owners with the application process and approval. Property manager, respectful , courteous and always on call and available if we have questions, concerns or if anything needs to get done. Cleanliness and maintenance always a top priority with employees. You always see maintaince employees making sure park is clean, and it is cleaner than others. Party hall available for rent. Washer and dryer availability. Safe gated park, quiet and calm atmosphere, lighted park, cameras on premises, with speed limit for our safety, and childrens. Safety of tenants is an obvious measure we see.  Small animals welcomed and we only had to pay a small affordable fee, and that was a big worry for us, since my kids couldn't bare to be without Schmidt our chihuahua,  cable. Transition from my previous place to Casa Mobile home park on 6145 quail ave. Has been one of the easiest and non regrettable ones for my family and myself. This is the place to live at!

Slant rhyme summary: draconian rules, beautiful views!…read more In the winter, this place is open 8am to 6pm. You can leave this campground anytime (insert boomer Hotel California Dad joke here), but you can't get back in. How do they accomplish this? The road into the campground is gated. The gate is locked on one side (driver's right) and the other side is open, BUT it has those one-way spikes like the rental car agencies have. This is brutal. We were here trying to do rock climbs in the Organs and we had to SPEED back into the campground to not miss the 6pm cutoff. It made it impossible to enjoy the lovely eateries and breweries in Las Cruces so...we chose not to sleep here for multiple nights and just leave our tent setup. Having said all that, this campground is immaculate. It's one of the nicest public campgrounds I've stayed at. Every site has a fire ring, a grill, a picnic table WITH a minipavillion, and a flat area to pitch a tent. To top it all off, it's only $7 a night and has amazing views of the Organ mountains! My guess is that this area has problems with rampant vandalism (many of the Organ mountain trailheads are also locked from 8am to 6pm) and is maybe understaffed, so this is their solution to the issues. If you go to bed early and are really good at cooking in a campground, this is the spot for you. If you're the type of person that likes big days in the mountains followed by hiking out by headlamp followed by crispy brews in town...look elsewhere.

This is the closest campground I found near White Sands; it was about a 40 minute drive. The stars were beautiful. Make sure to bring exactly $7 cash as you deposit it into the box to get a permit. There were picnic tables and grills for each campsite. We had a nearby garbage bin. The vault toilets were surprisingly very, very clean. The Pine Loop Trail was a lovely four-mile hike that starts right by the campground. It takes you up into the mountains, and it took us about two hours to complete. There were many false trails that weren't marked. It's rated as moderate, although I think it was more challenging.

The time when I usually come to climb in the park is Veterans Day weekend, and that time frame is when they're just starting to open for the season. We went here to rent crash pads. $10/day for the regular 2 fold $15/day for the tri fold *the ones we rented were NEW!!!!! This place is in association with the American Alpine Club, so if you stay here you get a discount if you're a member. From what I saw, there are a couple rooms that have several bunk beds, a couple rooms with single beds, some rooms that have their own bathrooms, a shared bathroom down the hall, a common space area, a bar area, and a shared kitchen. The outside has some training equipment, too. It's just a place full of climbers staying to be close by to the park instead of 45 minutes away in El Paso, near the airport. There is also camping spots available and lots of parking spaces. We'll be back next year and hopefully if they are open we'll be staying here :)
