    Dog park tunnel

A very nice Park. The dog park is gravel with an authentic grass patch in center. It was clear of any dog debris which was new in my experience with RV dog parks. Beginner agility equipment too. A dog wash on premises. Small retail shop that was decorated to the nines for Christmas.

The nicest KOA we have been too yet! So festive and friendly. The cleanest and most beautifully kept KOA. Room between sites, concrete strips to aid in leveling, lovely view of the city especially at night, quiet, wi-fi, trash pick up at sites... They offer complimentary morning coffee and pastries in the holiday decorated community room adjoining the office. It was a "jolly"stay.

The RV park sits up on a hill that overlooks Las Cruces. The staff is friendly, and the grounds are kept very clean. We lucked out and got the most favored site, #9, which had an amazing view, and a covered cement patio with a table and chairs, a fire pit and a barbecue. We spent 3 nights, and we wish we had scheduled in a few more nights. While we were there, we used the laundry facility, which is open 24 hours. The laundry room was clean. The machines use quarters, $2.00 to wash, and $.75 to dry (20 minutes). There is a TV which is kept on, a couple of chairs, a sink, an iron and ironing board, and a lovely mural on the wall. Very comfortable. We also used the dog washing station, which we absolutely loved. The raised tub made it easy to wash our pup with the temperature-controlled sprayer. (Bring your own dog shampoo). The dryer had adjustable heat and air flow. We had a nice clean dog in no time at all. The pool area looked great, but unfortunately the weather and our schedule prevented us from taking a swim. Maybe next time. Because we will definitely stay here again when we come back to this area.

This was one of the nicest KOAs we been too and can only give compliments to the personnel and the overall appearance. After booking it we went directly to the beautiful pool for a swim. Our area was great and easy to set up. I laugh after reading one review giving them a low rating for not having grass. I guess no one told them this was the dessert. Anyway we will definitely be returning.

May 31, 2023 - Las Cruces KOA (Las Cruces, NM) We drove from Tucson to Las Cruces on Wednesday morning. You pick up an extra hour as you cross the Arizona/New Mexico border, We arrived at the Las Cruces KOA RV park right at 2 PM, the typical KOA check in time. We walked straight up to the checkout counter. Lucky for us, no line! The woman at the front counter was very friendly and got us checked in to our site, a beautiful spot overlooking the town of Las Cruces and the beautiful jagged mountains just to be east of town. Site 9 is definitely a premium spot, with the only cabana in the entire park. The cabana has a cement pad and is about 15 x 15' in dimension with open sides and a steel covered roof, great for protection against the sun and rain if that were to occur. Under the cabana are a patio table with four chairs, a gas grill barbecue, wooden bench, and a portable woodburning fire pit. The campsite itself is large, with four separate full hook ups with water, electric, and sewer to accommodate your rig depending on how you pull it in. The park itself is very nice. It has a very modern feel to it with lots of nice brickwork, group sitting areas with fire pits, a nice swimming pool area, fenced in doggy area with grass, children's playground, shower and bathroom facilities, and a dog washing station. We gave our little pooch a good washing while we were here. It is really an A+ facility with Temperature controlled water in a stainless steel raised tub and a temperature controlled flow controlled dryer. There is a small trail that goes around the edge of the park that offers beautiful views of Las Cruces down below.

This place is very well kept. The staff was very friendly, the had a nice playground for the kids and a very well kept pool. This place was cleaner then some famcamps (military bases) we have been to. The store at the campsite had a great selections of things you might need and free coffee and danishes in the morning.

Everything is in good repair, clean and they keep adding new upgrades each time I come back. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and it's just a good place to be. We stayed awhile while house hunting and we couldn't be happier BTW this is the best Wi-Fi EVER stream, calls , calls and stream, no problem, love it!

I took the gravel road, and thought it was super funny and a blast. The owner says there is a smooth road in if that's to your liking. The minute I drove up, I could feel a positive energy and peacefulness. I did see a large coyote running through the Prairie as I was driving in, so if you have small animals never let them out of your sight and keep them on leash. There are also multiple birds of prey....beautiful, but don't lose your little fur kids. I have four dogs and three of them are little, so that is a practice I already adhere to. The owner Carole was super inviting and met me up the front to take me to my spot, and give my a welcome packet, if history and info about the area. I told her that this place reminded me of a wolf sanctuary that I visited in California. I took the whole four-legged family out to visit my son in Georgia for the holidays and I was on the road for three weeks already. This was absolutely my favorite spot. They are a member of passport America so my night visit was 50% off, very reasonable. This place is a little off the beaten path, but if you're a free spirited person like myself, you will be happy you stayed here.

Our spot we rented had a pole teather that went right through the middle of our parking area, so we could park but not use our awning. Dog park is sand, but they do provide lots of doggie bags and cans. They are pretty strict on the no fences for dogs and 6foot leash at all times. Our site was backed up to the main road and it's super busy, cop cars speeding by with lights and sirens on, ambulances, ATV and side by sides speeding and loud music. Super loud road, we tried to get a spot in the back but unfortunately we were put on a waiting list which was long, since people stay there for years. The worst part of the entire stay is the dairy farm being less than half a mile from the rv park, the wind changes and it smells like the cows are inside your camper, the amount of files were disgusting. Never ending flies that would swarm you if you sit outside, and your dogs. Overall this is a okay park if you are okay with smelling cows at random times and files all the time. But there is hardly any availability, for people to stay one or two nights, they only have a couple open. The workers do patrol on golf florets all the time and even drive through the rear of sites.

There are a couple of things you will want to know if you find this the same way I did. First, note that the map/directions that this yelp site gives you will NOT take you to the campground (it takes you to what must be a BLM office in Las Cruces). UPDATE: I submitted the correct address (Aguirre Springs Road) to Yelp. If that is the address that shows up, it is correct. The Marquess Street address is the incorrect one. These are the directions copied and pasted from the Aguirre Spring website: Location / Access The Aguirre Spring Campground is located on the east side of Organ Mountains, east of Las Cruces in Dona Ana County. Take U.S. 70 for 14 miles east of the I-25/U.S. 70 interchange in Las Cruces, then turn south on the Aguirre Spring Road (1.1 miles after San Augustine Pass) for six miles. At mile 4 the road becomes a one-way loop and climbs steeply. Next thing to note is that the only facilities are toilets. They were clean and well kept. These restrooms do not have sinks or mirrors. There are no showers and there is no water at the campsites. You can fill up your water containers at the campground host's site which is right on Aguirre Spring Road as you start driving in. The sites have picnic tables and grills and some have fire pits. There is a loop of campsites that are off to the right of the camping pay station. Those sites are pretty close together, and there were several families camped up there, but they are right at the base of those gorgeous rock mountains. I bypassed this loop and drove down the road a little further and camped in a spot on the left a little ways passed the hiking trail (which is on the right). I loved my spot. I pitched the tent under shady tree. A restroom was close-by. I went for a trail run/hike the following morning. A very well spent $3!
