They're very happy dogs and the groomer did a fabulous job and cleaned them so well they were really cleaned up well they smell like angels. They did the shed and they're absolutely gorgeous. They're all fluffed up. Our family has been Atlanta Pet Resort customers for over 16 years and recently almost lost our dog due to a neglected dog bite. Our dog was attacked by another dog during play time and neglected for 4 days before requiring emergency veterinary care and almost dying. Atlanta Pet Resort did not make us aware of the situation then lied and tried to cover up the incident, it was only the ER vet that was told and then relayed the truth. 2 surgeries, 7 incisions, and 3 drains later we're running a veterinary out of our home and hoping she pulls through. This is a pet owner's worst NIGHTMARE... do NOT trust this company with your pets. It's a sad decline at what used to be a great facility.

Please keep an eye on your fur babies and if they start coughing or have diarrhea, take them to the vet to get them checked! I picked up my 3 dogs yesterday and 2 of them have KENNEL COUGH!!! To say I'm upset is an understatement. I was in contact with the lady that runs the facility. She told me yesterday morning that my dog, Togo had a one short 2 cough spell but that it wasn't hindering him. I became concerned at that point. I know I am not a vet BUT I am a groomer and I have worked at a vets office before, so I do know some things. I picked the dogs up and the coughing got worse! Well to top things off my dog, Spirit started coughing. The owner wanted me to keep her informed, so I did let her know that Spirit started coughing. Then to top that off, I had to groom ALL 3 of my dogs when I got home. Now I know they are going to stink or be dirty when staying at a boarding facility BUT when my dog, Monty had dried dog poop all over his belly, that is unacceptable! They were absolutely filthy and smelled so bad! When this was mentioned to the owner (I have the messages,) all she had to say was, I'm sure that is from when Spirit had loose stool in the run. Um.....did you not clean the run? And why would not rinse off my dog? I'm not asking for a full blown bath but you could at least rinse him off! I also would like for y'all to know that even though I was notified about the one short 2 cough spell, when I picked up, my dogs where still in the same run. They had not be quarantined from other dogs in the same area as they were. I sure hope those who had dogs staying there were notified that their dogs had been exposed to not one but two dogs with kennel cough, as this is HIGHLY contagious. I even said that to the owner. I have all the messages. I want to also say that she seems to be so nonchalant about it. She has not even offered to pay for the vet bill and still charged me for boarding. Well with the timeline the way that is of when the coughing started, one of two things happened: 1. There was already a dog there with kennel cough and they failed to quarantine, notify incoming boarders and failed to properly clean/sanitize. 2. There HAD been a dog there with kennel cough and they failed to properly clean/sanitize. Either way my dogs are now very sick and refuse to eat and drink water and they did catch this virus at the boarding facility! Please DO NOT EVER USE THIS BOARDING FACILITY. I will be making sure to ask any future boarding facilities for their general cleaning procedures, to make sure this doesn't happen in the future. **Anyone is more than welcome to contact me and I am more than happy to send videos, pictures, etc.**

When we got him it had been a long time since we had a dog and I stopped by Clippers N' Bows to see if I could get some help. Jennifer was friendly and helpful even though I was not a customer, yet. Since then she has been Riley's only groomer and we have become friends. She has always done a good job, was helpful if I had questions, and recommended a trip to the Vet if she saw something that needed checking. I recommend her to everyone. I have read some of her reviews and know that things happen we don't like, but that happens in doctor's offices, etc. We lost Riley a month ago to stomach cancer, and she groomed him right before he died and was gentle, caring, and loving with him. I mean, stuff like that you don't say to your customers and that's very unprofessional. Even if my cat was mean, it could have been said in a different way. Also, when I said I felt uneasy, it's because I felt like thy were mean to my cat. Anyways, I am sooo very happy and relieved to not go back to this place anymore. (I wasn't going to anyway.) I found an actual vet place that is award winning and offers cat grooming services. They charge more but it's worth every penny to have peace of mind for me and my fur baby.

The owner truly cares about each employee and each client as her own. Employees are trained well in a teamwork heavy environment. Additionally this facility uses hospital-grade air filters which is very impressive. The overall cleanliness of the facility is also up to my very high standards in animal care. Even the kennels labeled dirty were clean-looking. Finally this establishment is extremely well organized. Whereas at other facilities belongings tend to go missing, the kennels here each have their own box and corresponding cubby separate from the kennel. This makes me very happy as I've witnessed many a dog lose their favorite toy or blanket to irresponsible employees or a disorganized facility. I truly cannot say enough good about Haven. I may have only toured for a short time but it made a very lasting impression.
