Who would have thought one could find very, very good Vietnamese pho in Aachen, Germany??? We had just arrived into town by train, hopped on a bus, and made a bee-line to the restaurant over cobblestone streets with our bags before even stopping at the hotel. It was completely worth it. The soup was legit, filled with generous cuts (not slices) of beef (or duck, in our son's case) and vegetables. We liked not having to add our own green vegetables and waiting for it to fully cook in the hot soup, because they added them in for us. Personally, I found the broth a little on the sweet side, but would give their pho 9/10.
Skip the coffee, which isn't actual Vietnamese coffee, which may not be something they can get. We notice they don't have a beef ball option for their pho. Again, it may not be something they can get.
