The owner (Ecki) is lovely and made me feel welcome right from the start. Eventually we all finished our drinks and we're about to buy another round when we were again confronted with the server's insistence that we order another round of drinks immediately or get out so, needless, to say, we got out. The main serving lady was actually (no kidding) physically pushing us out the door of their half-empty place. The time was 10:45pm and we were geared up to settle in for the night. They could have made a lot of cash out of us but, as we were made to feel so unwelcome, there was no way they were getting any more of our cash. That wonderful ambience aside, the 'live music' was essentially a dodgy karaoke guy singing by himself in the corner. The drinks menu was, shall we say, limited and the place was just generally a bit poky. Berlin has tons of great bars down the road in Kreuzberg so avoid this dog and head there.

I only had one drink here (a blueberry saison) but likely could've stayed for hours. They had hooks, free wifi, and ample seating. I didn't get to talk to the bartenders but they seemed nice enough as well. Kaschk also serves as a coffee bar...an interesting combo that makes perfect sense! Prices are a bit hefty (my saison was like 9 euro) but also they're imported so it makes sense. I was glad to see Victory in stock. Apparently they just took over all of Europe. I see them EVERYWHERE. Totally didn't expect that. But anyway, yeah, visit this bar if you have the time.
