My daughter has nut allergies (not…read moreusually an issue at Japanese restaurants) and the waiter yelled at her several times (really!) that she should just leave if she had allergies -- this after he'd served our food. I should have left while ordering, when a female waiter insisted that it's perfectly normal to include mayonnaise in all sushi rolls. Not true. Yuk! We ordered a tuna roll with cucumber and the cucumber was about an half an inch thick and not even lightly pickled. Their chicken skewers gave us upset stomachs. Stay away! Not good Japanese food and even worse service. Not up to NYC, LA or Hawaii standards.

If you are eating there - definitely order fried fish, definitely stay away even from natto!, sashimi and basically everything else as they managed to defile even sashimi and natto with mayonaise... Overall - a very unexceptional restaurant, which I won't be visiting again after my 3 exploratory visits.

Food is average(reminds me of elementary school meals) and price is ok, but their manner and service seem very blunt and machinery. Actually I felt offended when I was asked curtly to move the seat to the next as if I were a servant, not a customer. If they serve food making the most of Japanese food culture, please respect Japanese way of politeness and customer. French customers are more courteous and polite there than Japanese staff. The service however was more what I would expect on the Champs d'Elyse on a hot August day: surly and impatient. I would have given another star if the service would have been up to par. It wasn't a language issue as I ordered in both French and in Japanese and we got exactly what we wanted, but both our server and the Sushi chef were in apparent foul moods. The older lady that was working was much better though. This place is not cheap and a low price bottle of Saki was 27euro. My hope is that when the food is great, that the staff would match.
