It was Thanksgiving night and they were preparing a feast for a group of study abroad students that had walked in after we were mid way through our meal. These were delicate and crispy, drizzled with honey and garnished with whole almonds, filled with nuts and cinnamon and spices, in such different shapes and varieties.
