Went to Miro Bistro for the first time tonight to celebrate my birthday on my parents. The restaurant had a very nice decor and it was a quite enough for an evening of chatting. The waitress seemed a bit preoccupied as when we came into the nearly empty restaurant we were asked if we had a reservation, which we didn't, and she just pointed to the table we were to sit at and then she walked away leaving us to seat ourselves. The menu had a great selection as my wife and I don't eat meat. I ordered the fish special and the seafood soup. The bread arrived and it was fairly basic with a very plain butter. My soup was nice but a bit peppery for my taste. My fish came and it was amazing. Perfectly cooked with a smooth and flavourful creamy tomato sauce. The rice was perfectly paired with it and the vegetables were fresh and crispy. The service wasn't the highlight as beverages came slower than expected and water refills were completely lacking. For a high class meal and a bill that topped $50 per head I'd expect a bit more service. read more

Miri Bistro is fantastic. When I went they were out of some seafood...Oh well, everything they made was fresh and well put together. Each dish we had was fantastic, especially the best salad and pasta. The ambience is fitting, and staff are friendly. I'd recommend this as one of the top places to go in Lethbridge. read more

This restaurant has never produced anything other than amazing food. It is quality food and service and the staff and chef are very involved in your experience. It is very busy in here most days but well worth the wait! Last time we went here we ordered and appetizer, two entrees and a couple desserts and yes it was over $100 but we left absolutely satisfied and continued to think about the magnificent flavors that were in the meal. Have been here a few times since opened. It is a wonderful change from the regular pizza,burger and Chinese food this town seems to enjoy.

Went to the Miro for my birthday, it was recommended as having good food and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, tasty and well presented our group of six covered most of the menu and everyone was satisfied. This is by far the best restaurant in Lethbridge and would not be out of place in any major city on the continent. Finally somewhere to take guests from out of town and not be embarrassed that all we have is some franchise eatery. A great evening that I hope to repeat as soon as possible. read more

Have had dinner here many times. The food never disappoints. From the fresh bread baked onsite to the amazing goat cheese tomato salad. Please try the potato wrapped beef tenderloin you won't be disappointed. Excellent wait staff and probably the best wine list in the city. read more

Miro does it well. A fairly small menu (bistro style) but a nice range including a few meat choices, usually one fish, a couple of pastas, and a pizza. Nice starters, too such as a beet salad or scallops. Little turnover on the wait crew is encouraging and means they're trained and knowledgeable. Had dinner there on St. Valentine's Day. The restaurant is small but aquaint. The service was excellent. Small menu to choose from but the food was great! Very tasty and cooked to perfection. Portion sizes are small and prices are high.... But that's typical of fine dining restaurants. Nice place to go for special occassions. read more

For the money I was expecting something more... very disappointed with the veggies and scalloped potatoes - the latter seemingly coming out of a casserole dish cut perfectly into a dry square. I had the fillet mignon and for me it was two pieces of $15 steak, not the melt in your mouth $39 steak the menu stated. I won't go back and wouldn't recommend this place... two stars cause the flavors were okay... read more

A first-rate meal! We ate at Miro on a Thursday night and it was not full, and the single, amazingly efficient and hard-working waitress handled everyone with amazing promptness. Everything we ate was good: A wonderful bouillabaisse, lamb osso bucco, superb bread, a nice deconstructed chicken paprikash (chicken in sauce rolled up in a crepe with more sauce and sour cream on top) and even a fine desert. Comfortable ambience but it can be noisy. Good service. Good food unless you are a vegetarian. Then there are virtually no options other than pasta with tomato sauce or cheese pizza. The meat eaters enjoyed in our party enjoyed their supper. read more
