After our usual Indian restaurant was fully booked so we decided to try here. Despite there being a seperate entrance for those ordering takeaway to those dining the restaurant still had an extremely casual atmosphere, perhaps due to people arriving in lounge wear just to play poker.
After ordering our food and drinks our drinks quickly arrived. We found the mango lassi was bland and compared more to a juice. Our curries soon arrived in a reasonable time but without the rice and naan we had ordered. We questioned whether they had forgotten but after about five minutes they finally came out and we were able to start eating. I found my curry was good however my friends thought otherwise. The rice was average, it didn't seem like the sort of rice you'd receive at other Indian restaurants and was about the same quality as you would make at home. The garlic naan tasted alright although it was dry, lacking butter or oil. I probably won't be coming back here, although cheaper, you're better off going to four flames a couple doors down. read more
