Our first 3 choices post theatre unable to seat us for more than an hour-
Local accompanied us for evening meal and led us here - Indian 2 Nite - VERY quiet in the the chilly dining room - only 1 other table occupied whilst the 3 previous restauarant we visite =d were FULL = what have we here?
Chefs were preparing 'takeaway' meals for pick up delivery - but we opted to DINE IN - had a long walk round after the 'show' - twas cold outside - 3 hungry - ( not hangry ) adults.
one of the 3 Mains was pretty tasty - the Jalfreizi lamb - served with LOTS of steamed basmati rice - and we shared a so -so garlic naan-
2nd Main - lemon chicken left uneaten as no one found it palatable - sour side - and being so cold in the dining room everything chilled off quickly hence.....
3rd Main scored an OKAY when hot but not so good when it cooled off - the venerable Indo / Chinese dish of chili chicken - twas not BAD - but have had MUCH better in our travels.
Friendly staff-
Value- only okay given the quality therein.
Venue is basic - could have used a heater to take chill off the dining room in our opinions so we left our outdoor clothes ON.
