We went for dinner and loved it!!! The food, service, and view were all excellent. This was our "nice dinner out night" during our little vacation and we were thrilled with our restaurant choice. There are seafood and "land food" options for appetizers and both courses. Many of the options are made with local ingredients (lots of lake fish). For 4 first courses, 3 second courses, 3 desserts, a bottle of wine, and 2 bottles of water our bill was about €135 which we felt was a great price for the quality of food (and we did not pick the cheapest dishes on the menu!) For firsts we had the bergamasco cernusci, the Gorgonzola pear hazelnut risotto (2), and the basil shrimp risotto. For the seconds we had the rabbit and the lake fish sandwich with fried eggplant and a goat cheese sauce (2). I could eat any of them again, they were all excellent. We came in with our 6 lively month old he host and waiters were all incredibly accommodating with him. They brought him a high chair without me even asking, they entertained him while we were ordering/eating. We chose to speak Italian with them, but they clearly were willing to speak English with us. I highly recommend this to anyone. It's not a cheap dinner, but it is worth the money, in my opinion. read more

I'd rather go hungry or eat cereal than have another meal at this "restaurant." I've traveled all over the world, including in Italy. Italy has the freshest best quality ingredients in the summer. Vegetables, excellent cheeses, fresh pastas and meats abound but not at Hotel Miranda. Vacation in Italy is too special and life is too short to waste your euros here. read more

We stayed at the Miranda hotel, and were mildly please with the hotel itself because the rooms, although very clean, were very small and the bathroom a little outdated. The balcony attached to our room was very small, but the view from it was extensive and fabulous. Although the hotel is situated away, and significantly higher than the lake (and maybe because of it), we had a 180 view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Absolutely breath taking, from the room, from the restaurant, from the lovely, shaded terrace, and from the pool. The restaurant, was THE BEST. Not only was the food extremely good, it was artistically presented, very fresh, and served with a huge amount of good will, humour, and kindness. They even went out of their way to present us, not only with a varied choice from the card, but also with "special requests" and all that with a smile! The whole staff, both in the restaurant and in the hotel, was very welcoming and warm, and aimed to please. We will keep an excellent souvenir of the place (especially the delicious food and the warm welcome), and we will try to return to this beautiful location. read more
