Best complex in the Imperial Valley! This is definitely a great place to live. It is located in a secluded area of El Centro with easy access to the 8 freeway, without any traffic noise and is a very quiet complex in general. The managers and staff here are friendly and available to help you out with any concerns or issues. Repairs are completed promptly and the manager and staff are available 6 days a week. The manager tries to go above and beyond to make each resident live comfortably. I'll never forget the day the manager passed out breakfast burritos with coffee and hot chocolate to each resident on their way to work beginning at 4am, during the holiday season. That was such a welcoming surprise. They have also held events to show appreciation to the residents as well. I won a $100 gift card to Starbucks from a resident raffle held at one of their resident pool parties! The actual apartment itself is awesome. I lived in a 2bed/2bath Lila Unit with a garage. The beautiful open floor layout was all on one story. It included two luxurious master suites with attached bathrooms and walk in closets. There is a shaded patio for each unit and plenty of storage space as well. Each unit has a washer and dryer inside without any need to go outside. Also a shaded assigned parking space and additional first come, first serve parking spaces. You will find great amenities here as well. A workout gym, a beautiful oversized pool with lounge chairs and plenty of umbrellas for shade, a jacuzzi, gated complex, secure mailboxes. This complex has it all! I recommend this complex if you want the best apartment living in the valley. I recommend it for sure! read more

Miraflores Apartments - Apartments Near Me - El Centro, California

I'm not writing this review to bash these apartments, but rather to share my honest experience as a resident. Unfortunately, I do not believe our apartment was properly cleaned, inspected, or prepared before we moved in. From the very first day, we noticed roaches, excessive dust, and maintenance issues that should have been addressed before the unit was rented out. One of my biggest concerns has been the ongoing roach problem, particularly in the kitchen. Despite thoroughly deep cleaning and disinfecting the apartment, we continue to find roaches, even on our clean dishes. This has been extremely frustrating and concerning, especially because we have a young child. We have reported the issue and requested pest control, but the problem has continued. I also believe the appliances need to be updated or replaced. They are outdated, and we've experienced maintenance issues with them. Considering the amount residents pay in rent, I feel the apartments should be better maintained and equipped with appliances that are in good working condition. I genuinely believe management should take more responsibility for ensuring that apartments are clean, sanitary, safe, and livable before allowing residents to move in. No one should have to move into a new home and immediately deal with pest problems and maintenance concerns. I'm sharing this because I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements, not only for current residents but also for future tenants. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable and at peace in their own home, especially when they're paying so much to live there. read more

I don't normally write reviews but this complex and it's staff deserve recognition. I've been living at Miraflores for 1 month so far and am happy I chose this apartment complex. My family and I were in a time crunch relocating from NorCal for work. The property manager Alejandra made the moving process so convenient and fast for us. Leasing agent Maggie has also been very helpful and friendly, she has made me and my family feel welcomed. Maintenance tickets have been resolved in a timely manner. I'm honestly impressed with how fast our maintenance tickets have been resolved. My apartment is beautiful and so spacious! I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a safe and quiet place to live. read more

Absolutely awful. I don't know if Lisa is around and is the property manager still, she was not good at all. Nothing was ever fixed in a timely manner. Extremely rude and racist towards white people too. Do not recommend. read more

Non responsive and rude staff answering phones. I recommend you look somewhere else as this place seems sketchy.

Stayed here for 7 months for a job out there. The staff were very responsive at the beginning when I was trying to find an apartment but after I left and saw an error on the deposit, they became unresponsive. They did not have any key card available for me to use the amenities there that I was paying for such as the pool and gym and there was still none available by the time I moved out. I had returned my keys but I did not have the key card to return since I never received one. I was charged $100 for it and when I had emailed them about it, they never responded back. Place is outdated and needs to be remodeled to stay the most "luxurious apartment in El Centro." read more

I had such a great experience with Mira Flores. The staff are very helpful and considerate. When I went to book an apartment they were able to walk me through things and help me out. Lisa and Alejandra provided much assistance. I wasn't able to live there long as I was relocated with work but I was treated with respect and was able to smoothly transition out of housing there. On top of the great staff, the apartments are very nice and really are the best way to go if you plan to live in the El Centro area. read more

I giving this one star not on the complex itself but the people that run this place. No complaints about the apartment complex or maintenance crew. But Lisa Garcia is HORRIBLE to work with. I would have renewed my lease if it weren't for her. So unprofessional and rude! She tries to gouge you for every single dollar. Don't even bother cleaning your apartment when you move. She'll still charge you a $260 cleaning fee regardless. She makes it seem like she's doing you a favor for allowing you to live there. The owners need to strongly reconsider keeping her on board. Again, no complaints about Miraflores itself but Lisa Garcia is the deal breaker. Go somewhere else. read more

I have had such a wonderful experience living at Miraflores. I am going into my second year living here. Everybody involved in the process has been very professional and respectful from the moment we first toured the place. It is overall a nice and quiet community, always clean, and whenever I have a question, or have needed a repair, it has always been taken care of promptly. The amenities are amazing! read more

Definitely the best location and living environment I've seen yet. The apartments are beautiful and well maintained. The staff and management is always friendly and resolves issues promptly. If you're looking for a secure, quiet and friendly complex, it gets no better. If I could live here forever I definitely would! read more

I made a special trip to visit properties since I'll be having to move there for work soon and was really impressed. Very friendly staff! Lisa is very professional and attentive. The place looks great and my kids loved the pool!! Best place in El Centro by far!! read more

At first look the place appears nice. I thought it would be secure because it is gated, but I saw people digging through the dumpsters daily. Empty water bottle was stollen from my balcony before Sparkletts could pick it up. Can't sleep with windows open because of the odor from the nearby fertilizer plant. No problem because the cheap vinyl windows don't open very well. Rooms have ceiling fans but I had to cover my head with a pillow to drown out the noisy fan. Gym equipment is not kept up. Bottom of the line granite counter tops in kitchen with pits and cracks. Appliances are relatively new, but extremely loud. Had to pause my TV shows when I turn the microwave on. That should be the quietest appliance. The new efficient washer takes over an hour per load. Finally, black round flat bugs fall from the A/C vent in the bathroom. Maybe other vents as well, but with the ugly spotted carpeting, the bugs can't be seen. One of the selling points is the nice community room, but you are not allowed to use it after the office is closed. Don't even bother cleaning the apartment before you move out. Even if you hire people to clean, they still charge you for cleaning. They won't do a walk they with you when you move out. They give you a chance to do the walk they 2-3 weeks before you move out, before most people start packing and cleaning. I vacuumed, scrubbed bathrooms and floors, cleaned ceiling fans and all the window blinds and then got charged again for them to do the same thing. Don't believe them when they tell you that you will get your deposit back. Considering the neighborhood, they are charging way too much rent for what you get. I've lived in much nicer, classier, safer apartments in San Jose for less than this apartment. It doesn't matter how new the place is, if the apartment fixtures and appliances are the cheapest available, the apartment is not first rate. I recommend saving your money and living somewhere else. Pro: Apartments are roomy, high ceilings, lots of storage. read more

Apartments are very nice, just like the pictures on the website. Maintenance was always done quickly. Office hours are posted and I have always found the staff there during those hours. Lisa and Alexiss are really friendly and helpful. I've been living here for a year and a half and never had a problem. Setting up the contract and renewing it is simple and easy. I Would definitely recommend Miraflores read more

Reservation fee is $30 online, then they do not take the reservation, make you re-do it and charge you 35$. Then the apartment is gone. It says it is month to month, then they say no we do not do month to month. I ask where does it say that. They keep saying its policy. It is false advertising. I do not trust or recommend this community. read more

By reading through the other comments I guess customer service at Miraflores was hit or miss. My experience was definitely a MISS! Alejandra is such a doll but Lisa Garcia has failed to understand that "customer service is Everything". I have never met someone so rude and stuck up in my life. Her "pushy-ness" has definitely soured my experience at Miraflores. The units are nice and clean, but two months before the lease is up they pester you with phone calls and notes, trying to get you to sign a new lease. I feel like there is a hidden fee for everything. And if you do decide to go with this place then say goodbye to your security deposit as soon as you turn it in. They will try to find a way to screw you out of ever single penny from your deposit. Don't bother hiring a housekeeper or thoroughly cleaning your unit before you move out. They will still charge you the cleaning fee regardless. So glad I've been done with this place. So much happier now at my new place. But Lisa's unprofessionalism definitely has left a bad taste in my mouth. She is not cut out for the customer service field. read more
