It is quite common to have protective pads under furniture on high quality wood floors and cleaning companies know this; their employee made an honest mistake. So what is the next right step by any Company with integrity? File a claim; that is why we all have insurance. The actions of their employee caused the damage and somehow management is under the allusion that they are not responsible because their cleaning solution couldn't have caused it. Later on I notice a odor and figure it was because it's fresh and will go away. After two weeks the house still smells like wet dog/cat. I email the company and asked if it was normal to have that odor for that long. It's been 3 1/2 weeks now and no reply back.
