I am so incredibly grateful to have found Christine Stoklosa at Advanced Audiology of New York PC…read more My visit on July 25, 2025, was an exceptional experience. Christine was not only professional but also incredibly thorough, and I was truly impressed by her expertise. She identified a critical finding on my audiogram--a flat tympanogram with a large ear canal volume--and responsibly recommended I see an ENT first. I am so appreciative that she prioritized my overall health, and I now feel completely confident and at ease about the next steps. I couldn't be happier with the level of care and guidance I received and wholeheartedly recommend her practice at 390 Crystal Run Road in Middletown, NY to anyone in need of an audiologist they can trust.

She is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO, not MD) meaning that she focuses on full body health. The office staff is also very accommodating and easy to work with. Additionally, I have been impressed with the speed at which the office sends over electronic prescriptions to pharmacy. The Branchville office is a well-oiled machine. Very happy to have found Dr. Caitlin.

I got an MRI and Xray and was told that I had bulging discs, degeneration and scoliosis (which I do have). Conico had already determined it would take 30 sessions of decompression for $5,325 to improve my back, which seems to be a package they give to everyone because it's on a prewritten care plan and is not adjusted to individual needs. They told me not only would this help my back, but it would cure my back ailments. I expressed that I would think about it and I called later that day to cancel my future appointment as I wanted a second opinion. The receptionist replied with "Thanks for the insult" and hung up on me! Instead of asking if there was anything they could do or if there was a reason I felt that way. It was completely rude and unprofessional and honestly proved to me that my first suspicions were correct. I have since gone to a 2nd opinion, who told me those decompression treatments would have worsened my condition as I also have arthritis. The 2nd opinion also told me the my best bet would be to go to physical therapy as there is no "cure". I absolutely will never go back here and I will never recommend them to anyone else.

When our daughter arrived for her appointment today, she was told that they do not accept no-fault insurance, and the office apologized for giving us the wrong information. We then asked if she could simply be seen under our private health insurance, and we were willing to pay out of pocket if necessary. Unfortunately, Dr. Massengill refused to treat her and apparently did not want anything to do with the appointment because it had originally been scheduled as a no-fault visit. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of willingness to find a solution. We were prepared to use our private insurance or pay ourselves, yet our daughter was still turned away when she was in desperate need of treatment. I understand that medical practices have financial and insurance policies, but patients should not be treated as if they are just a billing issue. In our experience, the focus seemed to be on how the office would get paid rather than on helping the patient. There are plenty of doctors who understand that patient care should come first and the financial details can be worked out afterward. Unfortunately, based on our experience today, Dr. Massengill was not one of them. Extremely disappointing.
