The house offers enough space for a family of 6 and it is located in a beautiful setting: away from traffic roads, in the nature and only a couple of meters from the water. On the terrace we could relax, enjoy our meals (I was surprised how sunny and warm the days during the entire holiday could be!) and enjoy a big variety of birds, among them hummingbirds and eagles. The location is perfect for kids and non-expert sailors who want to learn sailing thanks to its calm water. Please note that the water is pretty cold (18 °C) so that I would suggest bringing a neoprene wetsuit if you want to swim! Thanks to the kayaks, we could easily explore the area and we even managed to see seals and pilot whales (just in front of our house!!). The property managers Robert and Monika showed us how to sail on a trimaran (paddle-kayak) which we could use every time we wanted under their supervision. They also took us on a journey on their catamaran (extra charge) and showed us hidden beauties of this wonderful area. Thank you Robert and Monika, we won't forget this beautiful experience! You can hear the waves crashing on the beach from your living room. I fell in love with this place. It was bigger then my home and it came with beach front what else could anyone expect for 135 a night. Off season. A perfect vacation. They only have one moonbeamer so reserve it. The rest are all family units cost more have an extra bedroom minus the Jacuzzi.

I paid a $20 deposit at booking, and $62 per person upon arrival. There were maybe 8-10 total guests on the boat. We had an enthusiastic captain and first mate who pointed out good photo ops and the type of bird (or seal!) that was nearby. We saw tons of puffins, cormorants, razorbills, gulls, guillemots, kittiwakes, and a few eagles and herons. I highly recommend bringing binoculars (or you can rent for $8). They had a small gift shop where I bought cute puffin socks after the tour. I highly recommend this experience!

The kids playground was cool for my littles to run around on after a long day in the car. The property is a ways off the road and stays pretty quiet. The AC was nice. Having Two rooms was also nice. Cons The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The sheets and blankets also cheap. Additionally we had a minor issue with our stay and because the office is generally unstaffed there was nobody we could contact to help fix a really simple problem. So we went the duration of our stay with an unresolved issue. The only reason I am really writing this review is that for the price we payed (about $650 for a single night) and the accommodations and lack of service do not meet my expectations for such a high dollar stay. My perceived value of this stay is somewhere around half the price we payed. Suggestions: Upgrade the bedding and mattresses. Have someone on call who can resolve minor issues with people's stay effectively either via phone or text. Our issue could have been cleared up in 30 seconds.

Beds were ok and the cabin was clean. So why the three stars? There is absolutely NO one to contact for emergencies or in the event something needs to be fixed. They have a number to call that no one ever answers or gets back to. We had a couple of issues that needed to be attended to and never were. Texted, left voicemail with NO response. When we booked this place about six months before our trip, they had someone answering the phone who started she ran the place. Not sure what happened. Unless they change this policy where they have no one to attend to issues, I would not stay here again nor recommend. All they had to do was pick up the phone or call us back.
