It doesn't look like the pictures i see here on yelp at all. To my surprise it was pretty empty. Inside was a lady who told me I was in the right spot. I was greeted politely by the front desk lady and Toni. I sat down and offered a water. It's a cute little spot. Toni was the best part tho. She was warm and friendly and funny. She did most of the talking but I had told her via an email appointment what I wanted and when she turned I was amazed. She did this cool zig zag curls with the flat iron and she put a lot of spray on that will hopefully keep my hair but yet it feels soft. She also put lashes on me For not much. We will see if they last but I loved the experience and loved the look at the end. I totally recommend this place and Toni! I'm glad I didn't base my appointment from help Reviews because this visit was great and I will totally go back if I am back in MSP for something. Thanks Toni! The only reason I didn't give it all 5 is because I was over charged by 13 dollars and don't know why. My hair was 35 and my lashes were ten and I told her to give herself ten but she charged me 68. Regardless I thought she was great and would return.

I would also like to issue a genuine apology to the assistant manager for my language, as you can imagine, being a 17 yr old girl my appearance is very important to me and this being my first conflict with a "professional" place of business I did not at the time know how best to handle it. I booked on Wednesday the 17th a microfoil and cut with Kathrine (who I will say was very polite) the microfoil is described on their website as being "a technique for ultra-fine precision foiling which creates a seamless shimmer of color" I'll let you decide if the service I received in the pictures below matches that description. When I saw a few days later what had been done to my hair I went back in to the store and asked what could be done, they offered to tone it or re do the service which I appreciated but later called to decline and simply asked for a refund. Because the owner of the store was not in I could not get a refund at that time which is totally fine I understand that however it would be nice for you to include that more obviously on your website. I also would have liked to be informed before starting my service that you would not be able to match my hair color on my roots. And please do not blame me for the way you made my hair look I have another hairstylist who can confirm that your claims of how it's my fault are incorrect. I also feel I was quite overcharged because on your website price estimate it says I will be paying $190.00 however you charged me $215.00 maybe that's because of the other half a bowl of bleach? I'm not sure. I would also like to request that you stop trying to associate me with every poor comment you get on your page, any reviews that I had anything to do with were taken down. I would also like to add that having your sister message my mother about this situation when I guarantee you she hasn't seen what was done is quite immature and shocking. To quote her "do better"

Fell in love with the salon, Jon Englishs' wife even gave us a tour of the place. Beautiful and artistic decor! The salon closed shortly after we came in but they let us stay to ogle on the decor (it was very nice of them). We even met the owners dog (beautiful and very friendly!!!). As we walked and chatted I asked about the products and ended up purchasing 2 bottles of shampoo and the hair thickening styling mouse. I also asked the owner why her pup smells heavenly and she said she uses their shampoo on him. The product is clean from chemicals and safe to use on animals! I now share the shampoos with my two four legged pups and love the smell. One of the best purchase and have been ordering to ship to LA ever since.

Absolutely phenomenal experience, visually stunning studio space that Jon has curated. There is an outdoor patio space with lots of greenery, a fountain and it's absolute zen. Every experience I've had with the staff, from Dean at the point of checking in to sitting down to consult with my stylist (shout out to Kelly) is always impeccable. This was my first time seeing Kelly, and for the record I'm VERY hesitant to let just anybody touch my hair. I met with her in the front upon checking in, she led me to the chair and asked what I was expecting. Mind you I had a mop of hair to work with after letting it go for two months. Also the stylist I had previously seen hadn't quite met my expectations, so Kelly had her work cut out for her. About 20 minutes into her cleaning up the sides I could already tell that I had found my go to stylist. She met my expectations beyond what I had in mind. I could tell she took her time and was in no rush to catch all details. Overall my first experience at this new location was superb, which I expected nothing less coming from Jon and his amazing team. The fact that this new location is so close to me is the cherry on top of it all. *Pro tip* The Bloody Gorgeous Hexatone and Hair Modernizer products are to die for. I was addicted the first time Linda English used them in my hair and the smell is heavenly. Also there is parking behind the building that you can pay by the hour using your license plate number which makes trying to find parking a breeze.
