I am blown away by Minuteman Press! I called on a Friday afternoon to confirm if they could print 150 postcards by the next day, and although they were super busy, they were able to accommodate the rush job, even though they aren't usually open on weekends. The pricing was great: $68 after taxes for color printing for 150 4x6" postcards. On top of that, the printing quality was spot on and exactly what I needed. They emailed me the invoice and then sent an automated email once my order was ready (they also deliver)! Ron was super friendly and helpful. Was tasked with project of creating the girls basketball programs to be handed out during Redmond high school home games, except had under a month to get finished/printed and all that. Was absolutely worst time of year to take on such a task (all work done over Christmas break) and anyways, I barely finished it in time. Actually, I did NOT finish with enough time to get them printed for a Jan 7th date. It was ONLY because of Brian (the owner at Minuteman in Kirkland) that we had some copies to hand out. The game was at 6:30 pm, and Brian did not get my uploaded file until 4:15pm. Most printing companies will require 2-3 days minimum, I'd say average being around 5 business day turnaround, but to be able to get me 100 copies of 26 page booklets in an hour and a half is absolutely insane. To say I was impressed and appreciative is an understatement.I recommend this particular location more than anything as it is more than just "minuteman" it is the person behind that particular location that determines the service provided. Over the top and honestly, will not use another person to print anything moving forward except Brian's Kirkland location of Minuteman Press. Just a note: he does more than just paper prints, and from looks of it- visiting location- he does embroidery and clothing prints as well. Pretty much anything printing, this is your guy. I walked into the store hoping to do business but was immediately refused any questions because it was 5 minutes before closing. I didn't know they were about to close but if a customer makes the time to get in their car, drive to see you and then you dismiss them once they've politely asked you for information?.. Well you don't have to be a genius to know that that isn't too good of a business practice. They lost a potential customer. I've never left a negative review in my life but this one had to be done. I recently had my wedding invites, envelopes and rsvp cards printed at this location. The staff was amazing! They helped me with the design and coming up with the wording for my invites! (I had no idea what I was doing lol!) Everything turned out so nice! I received lots and lots of compliments on how beautiful and creative they were! The price was perfect and the turn around was super fast! I was so happy that they were able to help me! I've done business at the Kirkland location with the previous owners several times with other business's that I have work for. With the greatness that came from the previous owners (having no idea they changes owners) I wanted to bring more business to the establishment. Sadly to my surprise, I was slapped with a rude awaking!! The new owner, whom she claimed to be when I asked to speak with the owner or a manager... Is completely unprofessional, rude and I feel sorry for anyone that crosses her path. I recently emailed over information in regards to a print order the week prior and the pleasant man that helped me took all the details on what I wanted to have done. I called a week later to follow up on the progress since I had not heard anything from email, as the man that took my information previously said he would email be back a copy of the sample. When I called, the woman that claimed to be the "new owner" continued to insult me by raising her voice over mine not allowing me to get a word in, telling me how I didn't finish the details needed to complete my order. As she was asking me all that same questions that the man previously asked me, I yet again tried to explain I had already gone over the same details with the man I spoke with last week. She then proceeded with telling me how rude I was being and hung up on me. I called back hoping this was all a joke and she answered the phone not with a hello but with a "Shall we start over" .... Again not allowing me to speak or explain the situation she continued to tell me how rude I was being and that she was going to hang up on me again. I was so shocked by the unprofessional approach that I politely said I would prefer to take my business else where and left it at that. Clearly at this point there was no way to explain further or even waste my time since she would not allow me to speak. Being the owner and operator of 2 businesses I am appalled by this behavior. Employee or owner this behavior should not be tolerated by anyone . I DO NOT recommend this place! read more
