The CVS Minute Clinic at 5225 Poplar Tent Rd is professional, clean and highly recommended. Minute Clinic, in general, is very disorganized and obtaining a record from a few years ago is a headache (even though I've signed a privacy release every time I took my 85 year old mother there). I respect that patient privacy is being protected, yet I wonder why I've signed every time for three years as a person who info may be released to, and when I phone/attempt to find out whether my 85 yr old mother received a pheumonia shot in 2011, I'm told they can not tell me unless she is on the phone or I have a POA. Absurd! I don't shop at CVS. It was my mother's choice to go to the CVS Minute Clinic. We won't go again! BTW, I price shop and CVS is the most expensive (even with their 'discounts/coupons) compared to Walgreens and the least expensive Walmart. The last flu shot my mother received was Aug 2013, off Branchview Drive in Concord, NC. That CVS pharmacy area was so dirty that I hesitated to allow the 'person' to give my mother a flu vaccine. It wasn't a Minute Clinic - just CVS pharmacy administering flu shots. We'll never go there again. It was absolutely nasty dirty. The administer did wear gloves, and the injection was contained, but the surroundings were filthy dirty. First visit. Last visit. As a caretaker, CVS will never be used again, for anything. Poor assistance and filthy area where shots are being administered (Branchview Dr Concord NC). read more
