I've walked in with my daughter who injured her eye at school and may need a stitch or two. We have fantastic insurance with BCBS. I lost over 30 pounds in a short period of time. Rather than referring me to a GI specialist which I begged for they wasted several appointments pushing on my abdomen and scheduled a sonogram in lieu of a referral. Went to show up for the sonogram at 8 am and the office was closed due to weather. No one called and it was never rescheduled. I ended up lying to the doctor about having tremor so I could finally get a referral to a neurologist. Years later I am now diagnosed with an atypical form of Parkinson's disease. The doctor I had here retired and then millennium physicians said I had to be reestablished with a new doctor. So I went to a new patient appointment. I only use this office to monitor my hypothyroidism and cholesterol since they have made me aware that they are incapable of helping me with any of my Parkinson's symptoms. The new doctor ordered lab work, which I did. Then they had me come to a follow up appointment to go over the results. My thyroid was extremely out of whack. Not a small bit out of range but way out of range. You would think this is when they would make a dose adjustment. I believe the vomiting and nausea daily are being cause by my thyroid being so messed up. Now they have ordered me to get lab work done again in November, exact same test, so they can see how it's "trending" before making a dose adjustment. So I said I'm just supposed to keep being sick daily for 3 months until I go back for more bloodwork and another appointment. A 6 month scheme to bilk more money from me and my insurance. I don't recommend this office.

In this day and age, it is unique to have a doctor who knows you and your family, remembers your history, and really cares. I have never had a doctor like him, it is kind of old fashion to have such a caring doctor-patient relationship. My whole family is thankful to Dr. A and I highly recommend him.

That was not quite the attention to detail I had hoped for in a medical practice. But the caller was gracious so I decided to schedule the appt. I was still a little skeptical, so I called back to verify that the doctor could had a postpartum visit. I was assured it wasn't a problem and that the appt would take 15-20 minutes. I waited 40 minutes to have vitals taken and be shown to the room. I was told the doctor was running a bit behind but would see me by noon. By 20min after noon, I'd not been seen. The medical assistant who took my vitals said she needed to ask the doctor, but she never got back to me. When the doctor arrived he was personable, but brief. I had to go to this urgent care 3 times within 1 week for an ear infection. The first visit I was…read moregiven ear drops and was told to put 9 drops (all at one time) in daily-I had so much swelling that none of these drops were getting down in my ear, so that was a waste. The second visit I had an ear wick put in by a doctor (whom I liked very well) and he said that with that being in place the drops would actually be able to get into my ear. The thrid visit is when they finally gave me a steroid and this is what got the swelling to go down and the ear dops could go in and the infection cleared up. Although everyone was very pleasant, a simple ear infection should not take 3 visits! The billing lady was very rude! Do Better!!!

My prescriptions had completely ran out and I need at least a re-up on my Dexcom monitoring device, which has nothing to do with my blood sugars other than monitoring. The nurse told me I have to be seen with bloodwork done. I told her I am in debt with LabCorp and I couldn't afford bloodwork at this moment. I just need sensors prescription re-up that will give me time to pay off LabCorp and get blood work done so they can assess my insulin needs. I've always understood the protocol and I don't have a problem with it. With even the fact that I am in a hardship situation financially she still would not do the prescription or talk to anybody about it. I have never been retreated so coldly and rudely to have a protocol put above my life. I would've even have taken a sample but no, I guess it's either get your blood work done or die. So I hope anybody reading this understands what they're getting themselves into when they go to this doctor's office. Dr. offices are supposed to help people not make things worse. I've always been a good patient for them and now it seems I am not.
