The clinician who saw me was eager to diagnose my issue as a virus that needed to run its course rather than listening to me when I advocated for myself since I knew what was wrong. It's super close to me but I'll hesitate to return in the future. I'd rather go to Patient First for a slightly better experience.

Found a link to DispatchHealth and thought it was worth taking a chance. They have generally good reviews, and I loved the idea of a home visit. They arrived on time the nest day, after setting the time by phone early in the morning. Two very nice, very professional health workers, a nurse and a physicians-assistant, came to my house, did a very thorough exam, asked appropriate questions, and gave me a covid test on my front porch. They also wrote some prescriptions for me to ease the cough and other symptoms. They sent their results to my primary-care doctor, and called later to check on me and give some advice, which impressed me. They were friendly, thoughtful, and professional. And it's way better to be treated at home than to visit a clinic somewhere. Expectations were exceeded by Heather and Stephanie every step of the way. Highly recommended.

Finally on Sunday I looked for some type of urgent care facility and found Patient First. They took my information and after awhile was called into the office where they took more information and unfortunately, they didn't take or was able to bill my Medical insurance Kaiser Permanente. So I would have to do self-pay, which was fine and then get reimbursed from Kaiser. Somehow she lost my information and had to re-enter it all again and then notified me that self-pay was not available to me! I have three credit cards totally over $100,000 of available credit and self-pay wasn't available to me? They advised me to go to a clinic in Walgreens, which was closed. I wound up at the St. Mary's Hospital ER which was a blessing as they found an issue Patient First would never have.
