They should proactively bring patients like that to a back room to wait, away from others.

The admin assistants were then dealing with a heavier set lady (who worked there) with short curly hair who spoke to them like them were dirt on her shoe. So no wonder the front of house staff treats people coming in the door terribly when that's how they are treated internally. We wasted time filling out all documents and sitting for an hour before being told being seen here would be a liability because he had already had a surgery on his clavicle. My latest venture to one was earlier this month when I returned from a road trip, feeling ill. Suspecting I needed antibiotics, I went to Baptist one day after work. Some paperwork, a few tests, and a couple of hours later, I was out. I did indeed need antibiotics. This location gives you the option to either have your prescription sent to the pharmacy, or for a fee, get them on site at the InstyMeds machine. I would up paying the fee and getting them there as I was just dead tired. My prescription was for five days, and a couple of days after this, I saw my doctor. Said doctor switched my antibiotic because I felt awful only to have Baptist call the next day that the original antibiotic was the correct one. After following up with my doctor, I went back to the original one, and I wanted to just pass out, but I somehow stomached it, even going so far as to get a second dose of antibiotics because I still felt like garbage. Well, weeks later, I'm finally well again, so aside from this back and forth, no harm done. Just happy it's all over and done with.

However, if he had told me something concrete that he was concerned about, I would have taken him seriously. Instead, he was argumentative as I tried to explain my situation to him. He ended by telling me that they were open only because he was there, so what he said goes. The staff in the front are very helpful and efficient and everything is super clean. When it comes to payment and insurance, they bill to your address so you need not worry about anything here except getting the care you need. The lobby has televisions, light music, and water in addition to a restroom of course. The nurses and providers in the back work as quickly as they can and the facility feels very clean. They also have an x-ray team member as well that assists in examinations that require imaging. The location is clean and it's the best place to get care if you are not so severe that you need to go to the hospital. You also have a portal where you can look over all of your medical information and details from your visit right from your phone. Consider your necessary treatment level before coming. However, you can't get better care than this spot in Davie!

In a nutshell, a family member was physically injured in a car accident and we arrived at this urgent care facility for observation and treatment. Check in process: Simple one page registration. Counter Staff: Super polite Bathrooms: Modern & Clean Wait time: 15 minutes Medical Staff: Kind, Empathetic toward situation Doctor: Informative X-rays - Quick and Painless Provided medical items to take home. A live video with a staff member was conducted to reconfirm all insurance information. Prescription medication was distributed through an automated machine called RX Now by Insty Meds for a small fee by credit card. The entire experience took an hour and a half which included x-ray results with a CD in hand prior to leaving. I highly recommend this facility for any quick care medical treatment.

When I got there, only one other person was is in the lobby. Just a note it's small inside plus they have seating blocked off due to COVID (Which I'm okay with). The staff was nice at the front desk and the paper work wasn't that long. I had another person in front of me , so I had to wait a bit in the exam room. The PA ( I'm saying PA cause usually doctors say that they are a doctor when they walk in, if she's a doctor I really do apologize ) asked me what brought me here and actually listened to what I had to say. She told me what she thought was wrong and ordered some X-rays. Additionally, she added an X-ray to see if what I thought happened was going on as well. Got the X-rays done and what she said was the right thing and she took her time out to explain why. Gave me a shot and I was on my way home.
